Top quality Thai vegan options! - Edit
Comparable to Cookatoo in Melbourne, nice variety of flavors. It's only Takeaway post covid but worth having a picnic nearby.

Main street Thai near the theatre - Edit
Closed till march 2022. Tasty, nourishing Thai. Always busy. Clearly marked vegan options. I love that they use taro in dishes. Good for a date night.

Ordered a yellow curry and a thai basil and chilli stir fry to takeaway. Staff were lovely, service was quick and I was impressed by the amount of vegan options available. I enjoyed the vegan spring rolls as a starter. However the curry was not very exciting and the stir fry in particular was totally bland and flavorless. It tasted like they cooked it in water and added no herbs or spices. Sauce was like brown water. Despite eating straight away, the stir fry was cold. This was very disappointing as the experience up until the meal was great.

Read morewent there a couple hours ago on a road trip from wollongong to melbourne and stopped in Castlemaine and this was definitely the right place to eat dinner!
Had 3 dishes and 2 entrees with my family and we couldn’t finish half of it because there was so much. the servers and lovely and accomodating. everything i couple of wished for!
Pros: so yummy, so much food, such lovely people

Great Vegan and Vego Thai - Edit
A contemporary and healthy Thai menu with over 10 vegan specific dishes and many more vegetarian options. Beautiful flavours, lovely setting and very friendly staff. Extensive local and Asian tea and beer menu as well as large wine list. Also great for coffee and cakes.
