Fantastic vegan menu - Edit
The daily menu was great value. All the food was delicious. I especially loved the crema Catalana, since it's the sort of thing you can't normally get as vegan.

El trato fue muy bueno, pero teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de sitios veganos que hay en Barcelona desde luego este no es una opción si vienes de visita. Pedimos una pizza, unos ñoquis y los rulos de calabacín como entrante. No estaba mal, pero nada del otro mundo.

Hacía mucho que no comía una pizza tan buena: bien de ingredientes y bien preparados, masa crujiente y con orégano generoso. Pedí un cambio en un ingrediente que no me gustaba y me lo hicieron sin coste extra.
Read moreLa pedí para llevar y olía tan bien que me costó esperar a llegar al lugar. Como iba lejos llegó un poco fría y seguía estando crujiente y sabrosa, el queso no quedó mal (hay quesos veganos que fríos son malísimos).
Volveré a por otra pizza en cuanto vuelva por Barcelona.

Read moreDie Auswahl an veganen Pizzen ist mit über 15 verschiedenen Kreationen hervorragend. Auch die Pasta ist sehr zu empfehlen. Während unseres Aufenthaltes in Barcelona sind wir eher zufällig auf dieses Restaurant aufmerksam geworden und wir waren nach unserem ersten Besuch so überzeugt, dass wir direkt noch ein weiteres Mal hier gegessen haben.
Insgesamt haben wir 4 Hauptgerichte und 2 Desserts genießen dürfen, welche alle hervorragend geschmeckt haben.
Auch die frisch gepressten Säfte und Smoothies sind sehr zu empfehlen.
Das Restaurant ist ruhig und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Atmosphäre der Handgemalten Naturbilder an den Wänden lädt zu einem längeren Aufenthalt und zum Genießen ein.
Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Service wird bei Vegan Mundo wirklich noch groß geschrieben.
Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. Für 2 Getränke, 2 Hauptgericht und 2 Desserts zahlt man in der Regel unter 50€.
Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen
Pros: Leckeres Essen, Gemütliche Atmosphäre und guter Service, Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

We chose two pizzas from a long list of options (including burgers, pastas, and bowls). The pizzas were good, but not the best I’ve had. My friend got the Parmigiano one and the taste wasn’t what he expected. The price seems a bit higher for the quality of the food.

The place is small and simple, but they have a wide menu with a bit of everything (pizzas, pastas, focaccias, burgers, salads...). During the week, they offer a lunchtime menu that's well worth it. I ordered zucchini rolls filled with tofu as a starter (which were amazing), followed by bolognese pasta with lentils and crema catalana for dessert, which was also good. I left wanting to try many other dishes, especially the pizzas. Highly recommended.

Charming Little Vegan Oasis in the Heart of Barcelona - Edit
Mundo Vegan is such a sweet and cosy little spot. The wall paintings alone are absolutely adorable. It’s a perfect place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. I had a tasty tofu starter and a really excellent pizza. A peaceful, welcoming restaurant for anyone craving good vegan food with charm.

My friend and I tried two of the pizzas which were thoroughly disappointing. Pizzas are assembled from a clearly pre-bought crust (perfectly round and flat with no air, no flavor, and no char on the bottom) and also clearly not made in any type of pizza oven. For a restaurant marketing itself as a pizzeria, that's unacceptable. I've had better pizza at home made in a toaster oven. I struggle to understand all the positive reviews and perhaps something has changed recently for this establishment. If you're set on pizza you'd be much better off going to a non-vegan pizzeria and ordering a pizza without cheese.

All of our dough is made in-house — never pre-bought — using organic wholemeal (integral) flour. This flour creates a different texture and flavor from traditional white flour dough, and it’s part of our commitment to offering healthier, nutrient-dense alternatives. The crust might not have the air pockets or char of a Neapolitan pizza, but that’s intentional, and it reflects the ingredients we choose for our health-conscious and vegan clientele.
As for the cooking process, everything is baked in a professional pizza oven, and our ingredients are always fresh, plant-based, and chosen with care. We understand this may not align with everyone’s preferences — and that’s completely okay. Traditional pizzerias offer a different experience, and for those seeking that, they might indeed be a better fit.
That said, many of our regular guests return because they value exactly what we offer: a clean, accessible, organic, and 100% vegan experience. We’re proud to be a different kind of pizzeria — not trying to replicate the conventional, but to innovate and offer something meaningful for those who seek it.
