A restaurant that offers seasonal, healthy vegan food with a lovely, relaxing atmosphere and very kind staff. Highly recommended for those visiting Arashiyama. It's conveniently close to the JR station.

Vegan Bento Box - Edit
They have a new bento box everyday and the staff was very nice and explained what everything was. One bento box costs around 2200 yen and you can only pay in cash.

We loved the food and service here. We received a beautiful bento box full of nutritious and delicious foods that nourished us after a hot morning of hiking. The pearl barley tea that was served was delicious too. I loved getting explanations in English about the various powers of the food that was being served. It made for more enjoyment and gratitude for the beautifully crafted meal.

I was surprised at the quality of the food. One bite and you'll know it's a very carefully made dish. I felt very happy while eating, and my body and mind felt good afterwards. The restaurant is quiet and peaceful, and the staff are friendly and willing to help you with any questions you may have. (If you don't ask, they will stay silent.) Their website explains the health benefits of traditional Japanese foods, so be sure to check it out.

The healthiest food I've ever eaten - Edit
Vegan sushi comes with eight different side dishes. It's fun because there are lots of flavors . Very healthy and delicious. I felt great after eating it. The staff is very friendly and speak English. The restaurant is on the third floor and has nice view of the mountains.
