Perfect find in a tourist trap area - Edit
After visiting the monkeys and the bamboo forest with the maddening crowds, stumbling into this cafe-come-restaurant was the perfect antidote. Had never had a rice burger before but was very happy to try and it was delicious. Didn’t even know it was on HappyCow, but a serendipitous find led to a tasty late lunch.

Amazingly real Japan in a burger !! - Edit
As a Japanese vegetarian I often hear my veg friends wishing to try to eat real Japanese foods but often contains fish stock … this rice burger has every little real Japan inside and it’s all vegan! So if you wanted to try REAL Japanese vegan this Tofu and rice burger is for you !! Loved it !!

I prefer organic and safe food. So for me, the vegan burger had complex flavors. It left a bad aftertaste. People have different tastes, so I'm sure there are some people who will find this rice burger delicious. I didn't try it, but I think the vegan sandwich is probably a safe bet. I appreciate the vegan options available.

Felt very reasonably priced for a filling meal!

First of all the atmosphere here is really great and the staff is very nice. We ordered two vegan rice burgers, which tasted very good and I would definitely love to come back, had we more time in Kyoto.

They have vegan option rice burger. It was beyond better than expected, it was spam masubi but a vegan version. Never have I had something close to it. !! Enjoy fellow friends!
