The burger doesn’t look appetising at all. But surprisingly it was really nice. We are travelling north and only passing through but will definitely consider coming back on our way home from holidays. Our dogs were welcomed in the out front dining area no worries at all.

Had a few vegan options, I had the plant based breaky which came with scrambled tofu, cashew chutney, relish and toast. I added hash browns. Food took a long time to arrive, but we were warned of this so it wasn’t an issue.

Limited vegan breakfast options but delicious - Edit
2 items on Breakfast menu. I had the Granola as I was keen to try something different given it is served with Coconut Panna Cotta and not Yoghurt. Flavour was amazing and overall a hugh quality dish. Serving was quite small, I was genuinely surprised when it came out given the $19 price tag, I could have eaten double the serve easily.
Read moreTofu Scramble on toast with relish was part of their small meals for $12 so I would be slightly concerned about the serving size. But then no extras included and they were quite expensive, for example $8 for spinach, $5 for a hashbrown. I did eat a side of mushroom and it was a whole portobello, cooked nicely and not overdone.
As said earlier, great quality food but does come with a price tag.

Pros: Vegan options in a town where they are limited, High quality and great tasting food, Amazing atmosphere
Cons: Very small serve, Staff were unable to tell me if the chai was vegan, Price was not worth the size for pre boxed granola

Modern space with heaps of vegan options. I was here for lunch but I saw they have a plant based big brekky as well until 11am.

Separate Vegan Menu! - Edit
Moss on Wood have designed a separate vegan and vegetarian menu. My first time ordering from the new menu I got the signature parmi with veges. It was comforting being able to order food in Mackay where I didn’t have to second guess what’s hidden in the ingredients list. 10/10 can recommend eating here.
