Fresh and delicious - Edit
The vegan lasagne was absolutely perfect- just a delicious combo of a large variety of veggies and white sauce, no pasta or mock mince, which i find makes lasagne taste more processed. This was super fresh and very satisfying with the side salad. I also had the vanilla cupcake, which was superb, and not too sweet (my usual gripe with most desserts). The staff were fantastic at dealing with allergies and other dietary restrictions, and were able to modify the Turkish delight latte for me to use the mushroom latte with Rose water and petals instead of chocolate, which turned out so delicious that I went right over to the bulk food section and purchased some of the mushroom latte powder to take home. I would have driven straight through Mackay without stopping had I not seen this listing on Happy Cow, now it's going to become a regular stop in my trips up and down the coast.

Great shop and yummy lunch items - Edit
I’ve stopped shopping at Coles and Woolies, so Soul and the fruit and veg shop are the only two shops I go to now. The bulk food section has everything I need to cook at home, plus some cleaning and homewares.
Read moreI eat lunch here once a week/fortnight. They have several wraps and salads in the fridge, or there’s a hot option behind the counter. Most of the food in the fridge is vegan, it’s very clearly marked if not.
