Tree hugger (no cheese)

This place is a cool little hipster place not too far from the lake! It is always crowed, but in my opinion it is worth it! I get the tree hugger with no cheese and unbuttered bread and I really enjoy it! it's no to expensive so if you are in the area you should give it a try!

fabulous for vegetarians, not very vegan friendly

As a previous review stated, limited vegan options. The tree hugger is NOT vegan as a server explained to me the potatoes are cooked with a bit of butter which cannot be undone to make it vegan. Oats deluxe are fabulous and can be served with a non dairy milk. Service is always great and kitchen is usually happy to make a vegan sandwich or salad.

Pros: excellent staff, cool atmosphere , willing to accommodate to the best of their abilit

Cons: not many vegan options on menu

Cool little place, but...

Cool little place, but if you're vegan, the menu shrinks down to about 2 or 3 options, all of which I feel I can make even better for myself at home; stuff like oatmeal, toast and fruit bowls where all I found other than this stir-fried veggie plate they call "the tree-hugger". Ovo-lacto veggies won't have too much trouble though, and might find something they like. The over-all feel of the place is really cool and artsy-fartsy (I like that, BTW), and the staff is super-friendly. The place is small, so there can be a bit of a wait at times. (Late Sunday mornings will really test your commitment!) So, over-all not bad, -just wish they'd not put dairy in everything and throw a little tofu in that scramble... but that's just me.

Pros: Fun atmosphere, friendly staff

Cons: limited vegan options, veg options not easily id'd on menu
