Awesome Vegan Cafe - Edit
Super cute place in Southside Pittsburgh. Very nice and helpful customer service. Sandwiches, wraps, nuggets, fries, desserts. Some gluten free options. They no longer have their smoothies.

I am so glad I went here. It was a breath of fresh air having the best food ever. Maybe top 3 vegan restaurants I’ve ever had. I will dream about this lemon pepper sandwich for years. I live in the south and will want to come back to Pittsburgh for this restaurant alone. The seasoning on everything was perfection. Everything was cooked perfectly. 20/10 - I wish I was here longer so I could here here again.

With their daily deals you can get GREAT food for cheap. Thursday’s you get 8 dollars off any chkn sandwich. The “hot hunny” sandwich was great too! Vegan version of honey for it was delicious

Had the 6am bagel sandwich and the Junk Wrap. Both were very good. Favorite was the junk wrap. The oyster mushrooms and the sauce were really good.
Met the owners and they are so friendly and nice.

Loved the food! Typically with vegan food like this, it’s not mushroom based, so this was a nice change. I will say it’s pretty pricey though… and the hours are inconvenient. We got the buffalo chkn fries, cheesesteak hoagie, and gold bbq chkn sandwich.

Oyster Mushrooms always win! - Edit
I love oyster mushrooms. So when I saw they were a main ingredient in a number of their dishes I had to support! I was not disappointed. The BBQ "chicken wings" and fries were delicious! I highly recommend.

The atmosphere is really cool. There is a lot of cool art around the place. There is not really any seating to dine in, but I just took my food to go. The food was really good. They are more specialty foods that vegans/vegetarians do not really have often like cheesesteak sandwich, cheese fries, etc. The flavor was really good, but the price was high. I can imagine the high prices can be explained by the specialty ingredients and the rent because it’s a newer local vegan business.

This business is a mess. I've dined in, gotten take out and delivery, and each time there was a major problem with my order. They regularly close up to two hours early with no warning and no explanation. The menu inside the store is never updated or accurate, and the menu online is so screwed up it shows half the items as out of stock (some are, some aren't) and the other half of the items are actually out of stock, but are shown as in-stock.
Read moreI ordered the golden BBQ chickn sandwich, banana pudding, and macaroni salad through their website, which requires a $25 minimum order and an EIGHT dollar service fee. An absolute racket. My food showed up 2.5 hours later, and I only received the sandwich. I called them to ask where my other two items were, and the guy just said "our website is messed up, but we refunded you for the items you didn't get." They hadn't. Two days later, the refund finally came through. But I still paid $26 for a sandwich, which was so overly smothered in sauce it was a dripping, soggy mess and almost inedible. I've given this place 4 chances now and they have never redeemed themselves. Never again.

The fried oyster mushrooms are so delicious! They were cut into thin strips so they were not real thick and meat-like, much easier to eat and enjoy, plus more flavorful! The fries were seasoned and delicious too. Also have healthy delicious smoothies! Their honey is not made from bees, it is vegan honey, they are 100% vegan!

Not sure when "vegan" became synonymous with health food, but it is 100% not! Either way, Moodz offers both healthy smoothies/ juices and indulgent plant-based comfort foods. The fried oyster mushrooms were so crispy and not greasy at all. The gold BBQ sauce sent it over the top. And I think I'm addicted to the cheesesteak egg rolls, so delicious.

They offer mushroom wings, candwixhed and wraps, “egg” sandwiches, Phillies and so much more!! House made sauces, honey and ranch all vegan! They also offer smoothies and juices. The staff was so helpful, the spot is super cute!!

Great atmosphere, food and smoothies are delicious. A bit on the higher end in terms of price but it is well worth the health benefits that come from eating clean. Don’t pass on the sea moss!

Got the beyond breakfast sandwich which was super soggy and drenched in syrup. The caramel iced coffee was bland, and my sister's hot coffee was cold. I went there to try the pop tarts/pastries, but they had hardly any made.

The menu offers choices ranging from super healthy to comfort food like Beyond breakfast sandwiches. Yum! I also had a delicious coffee cinnamon latte and we got fresh juices to go, served in glass bottles. The place is owner operated and the couple who run it were so kind and welcoming!
