Very tasty Asian fusion in a relaxed setting

A friend and I went here and both enjoyed our meals. The portions are large, and delicious. The dining area was quiet and aesthetically pleasing. The prices are very reasonable. The service is friendly. Each menu item shows what ingredients you may not want -- for vegan, choose items without "2" or "6". Fortunately, most items are vegan, since they all look as good as the two dishes we chose.

Pros: Very good vegan Asian fusion food, reasonably priced, nice setting

Mostly vegan Asian fusion with nice decor

Starting with what Mon has going for it, you'll find vibrant cocktails with fun garnishes, dishes full of nutritious vegetables, and a well-done restaurant decor. Mon would make for a good option if you're in need of some nourishment or a long date night.

Unfortunately, the food is really lacking in flavor. Seasoning and spice are absent in any of the many dishes I've tried here, and noodles can often be overcooked. Service is also lacking at Mon, and it is difficult to flag down your server for more drinks and additional food or pay the bill. You will need to budget a lot of time to dine here.

I've been to Mon a few times and have tried pretty hard to enjoy it, but unfortunately, it's usually disappointing. If you are looking for full depth of flavor or a quick bite, it'll be best to look elsewhere. I would, however, recommend this restaurant if you're sensitive to spices and have enough time to dine in or take away.

3 stars feels so low to be giving a mostly-vegan restaurant, but to be honest, it would be even lower if this place served animal-based meat.

Well thought out dishes

Wontons - lovely! Addition of pomegranate seeds are interesting. Very filling food.

Tasty, upscale

I had the mon curry with tofu, it was quite flavorful, the tofu was done well, nice and crispy. The dish came with a mix of veggies and rice. Pricier than other similar restaurants so I took off one star. Friendly staff, our food came out pretty quick.

Tasty curry

Had the Mon Peanut curry with tofu and it was delicious and fairly priced. The portion was generous and flavours on point!

What a find!

Nice Place

Good food in a really nice area. My curry was very tasty (though note it does have coriander, should you be like me! Other items list it on the menu but this doesn’t). Look forward to trying more!

Super tasty asian curry

Went here for take away lunch and it was amazing.

The place offers different asian dishes like curries, noodles and salads. I had the Mon Peanut rice dish with fried tofu and it was delicious. The portion was very big and the peanut sauce was creamy. I also liked the vegetables like broccoli, carrots and snap peas but I especially liked the fried tofu that was really crispy! Maybe the only downside was that the price was a bit pricey for the area (14,90 €)

I would definitely recommend going here if you’re looking for a good asian place in Kreuzberg.

Great date spot

Great menu, nice drinks, great food. We found the food slightly under spiced so had to ask for more sauce hence the loss of 1 star. But I would come here again!

A hidden gem!

Traveled to Berlin from Sweden yesterday and found this lovely restaurant thanks to Happy Cow. The servings were big, the service great with no unnecessary bothering (wich I really appreciate). Really fancy restaurant with cool interior details, exiting courses and great prices to. 10/10 would recommend, definitely going back here on our next trip!
Only bad thing is the consistency of the rice noodles, wish I had switched them out to egg noodles instead but that is just a personal preference of mine.

Pros: Great prices and big servings! , Great service, no hoovering., Great atmosfere, fresh and cosy restaurant.

Delicious and high quality

Everything we ordered was very delicious, and carefully crafted with unique flavors. Definitely get some appetizers along with your entrees when you come here. The interior also has a very nice atmosphere.

Good choice

Good food, nice atmosphere, good service. Choices similar to most Vietnamese places in Berlin with a few additions. Food was a bit greasy.

Nice place, tasty food

Gemütlich-modern eingerichtetes Restaurant. Wir haben mehrere Vorspeisen bestellt, Preisrahmen ca. 4,50 bis 6 Euro. Das Essen kam zügig, die Gerichte waren sehr schön angerichtet und geschmacklich spitze.
Uneingeschränkte Weiterempfehlung! 👍🏼
