The seitan bagel!!! - Edit
Oh boy oh boy... Little did I know about what to expect as I was approaching this little cosy bistro in a nice area a little outside of the city centre. I had heard about the place from a friend and went there expecting a nice little snack before my flight back home. They have super cheap daily menus and I was considering ordering the soup+lasagne set, but then I remembered that no matter what I should go for the seitan bagel. And I was not disappointed! It was really HUGE, filled with deliciously marinated seitan and various veggies, including one of my all time favourites: pickled cucumber. And it tasted like heaven. A few fresh french fries with a bit of some kind of a spicy sauce were on the side and a nice simple salad. I really did not expect too be that blown away but I was! I am definitely going to recommend it to everybody who is going to go Prague. The only little minus is that they don't accept credit cards, but that can be easily improved :-)

Cakes - Edit
The cakes here are to die for. The atmosphere is laid back, nothing too fancy. There should be more places like this in Prague.

Awesome place - Edit
Big fan of this place. Nothing too fancy (how I like it) and huge flavours (also how I like it). That nice local cafe, that you wish you had. Perfect place for brunch/lunch and some cake.

Great place - Edit
Great atmosphere with a good selection of breakfast and lunch options. The music was rock&roll and the staff are super friendly. Menu in Czech and English. The staff also speak both languages. My partner and I have tried the mushroom burger, quesadillas, lentil salad and the carrot hotdog, all were very tasty! Would recommend.

My favorite cafe in Prague - Edit
Delicious food and drinks and really cool people. It's 100% vegan and I just want to eat everything in there. The desserts and vegan burgers particularly shine. And like most places they have a daily menu with a soup and a main dish so regulars get a menu change up, I've had several of their soups and like them all.

cute place - Edit
This is a cute little cafe in a nice neighborhood. Their interior is very cool - especially the back room that has windows to the courtyard. They have a good selection of foods on their menu, mostly for lunch / snacking i world say. I had the spicy Thai burger which was not mind blowing but still very good. Friendly staff.

A nice cafe to visit with your friends to chill. The food is always fine but nothing that would amaze me. The desserts aren't bad either but many times too sweet for my taste ( and I do like sweet stuff >.

My favourite food in Prague - Edit
This is exactly the kind of vegan food I love - delicious but not too healthy or unhealthy, just vegan versions of regular food. I had an omelette and also bought a sandwich to eat later. Also, the best coffee I had in Prague. A quiet little cafe with a cool (but unpretentious) vibe. A short tram trip from the centre of the city, but easy to find and definitely worth the time.

Excellent value - Edit
I find Moment to be a pretty cosy place, always worth visiting if you happen to be in the area (near Jiřího z Poděbrad). They have a good lunch menu on weekdays and the prices are very reasonable in general. The food is nice, although not amazing: last time I went there I had the smoky burger, which was very tasty apart from the disappointing bun that tasted store-bought. Also, the amount of sauce that comes with the falafel plate is far from generous.
Read moreThe service seems to be a bit inconsistent - it's never been horrible but sometimes I've had to wait for a long time and felt unattended. It just seems like some of the waiters are a bit unfocused, all of them have been adequately friendly, the level of effectiveness just varies. Nevertheless, I would totally recommend Moment for anybody who's looking for an affordable vegan meal and a pleasant atmosphere.
Pros: inexpensive, all vegan
Cons: inconsistent service

ok vegan food - Edit
Cash only! Half the staff were friendly, the other half not so much. The cafe is smaller with about 6 tables. The food came quickly. I had the smoked tofu burger which was a bit dry. The side of fries and salad were nice. The cake and brownie were also a bit dry and both left me wanting a richer flavor. Vegan's prague is a lot better.

fantastic breakfast - Edit
This place was super close to our accomodation and so good. We shared the waffles and the scrambled "eggs" and they were both excellent. The vegan cream with the waffles was phenomenal. I also had one of the best chai lattes ever and my partner tried the chocolate cake which he said was the best he'd ever tried. The staff were lovely and it's a very cosy atmosphere with plenty of seating. Would definitely return and recommend.
