Soooo Yummy - Edit
We had an amazing lunch here (seitan & cheese bagel and seitan kebab). Both lovely, the cakes looked great too but we didn’t have time to stick around. Friendly staff, the wait felt a little long for the food but we didn’t mind - it was worth the wait! Really helpful that they have their full menu available online, too.

Friendly staff and amazing food - Edit
The girl who served us was so friendly and helped me make a note of the vegan cheese they use when I asked. Speaking of which the seitan bagel we both had was absolutely incredible, couldn’t fault it! Please just go and try it for yourself!

Disappointment - Edit
We were looking for a nice place to have a snack so we ended up here. The first thing we were told is that only 3 of the food items of the menu were available, not even the daily offers.(It was 3pm)
Read moreWe had the Seitan-bagel, it was okay but with a way too big seitan slice. The Chai Latte didn‘t taste anything like a Chai Latte, the only thing you could taste was cinnamon. The chocolate cake was okay but a bit dry and the hot chocolate was good.
We were disappointed because we read so many enthusiastic reviews and we can‘t agree with them at all.
Pros: The Café Looks very nice
Cons: Price- performance ratio does not fit, Staff acts kind of halfhearted , Only 3 items were available

Did not have updated hours - Edit
I was here in July 2018 and came for breakfast ten minutes before the opening hours 08:30 since I had to be at other side of the town for a guided tour at 10:00. I wait until 08:30 before I enter the half open door but gets answer that they don't open until 09. Apparently restaurant Moment, that is a bit out of the city centre announces on their front door that opening hours are 09:00 which the rest of the world should get.
Read moreSo I have to wait until 09:05 when a guy enters and order before me and I ask for a sandwich and coffee to go. When I get the sandwich I rush of to the metro and finally arrives at the meeting destination at 09:55. I don't get time to finish my breakfast until 14:00 and my morning filled with stress and disappointment.
Why is it that a restaurant in a remote part of town, proudly announce their Happycow sticker on front door doesn't care about updating their hours? It ruined my day and even though the food and their cause is great all I could taste was stress with stress. Hopefully you have a better experience.
Pros: Vegan and seems to work for good causes
Cons: Did not have updated hours, Waited 45 min to get a take away breakfast

too sweet, too salty, but maybe that is just me! - Edit
This was my second time at Moment. The first time my sister (also vegan) and I had the pancakes because reviews said they were amazing and best pancakes ever etc. Also we had the Falafel and for dessert a really sweet cake. To be honest - we weren't impressed (allthough my sister loved the whip cream!). We expected regular American pancakes. Allthough they were different, they weren't bad, just too sweet. The cake was too sweet as well and the falafel simply couldn't compare to what I had eaten before in Berlin for example. To me, no city could compare to Berlin vegan food to be honest!
Read moreThis time I had a home made bread with tofu scrambled egg and again the pancakes, because I wanted to give them a second chance. The bread was dry as the dish was pre-prepared and came out of the fridge. Too salty for me personally but the tofuscramble was very interesting not boring at all! The pancakes were yummy but again too sweet with the sirup...
The fresh ginger tea came im a huge cup and with lemon - amazing! :D
however, I would come again and probably order the pancakes again if I happen to be near and hungry! :P
Pros: all vegan, cozy, small, nice atmosphere, great free wifi
Cons: some food too sweet, some too salty

Really amazing burgers, excellent service, low prices. Alongside the burger I also recommend the Bernard Dark Lager beer they serve there, a tasty Czech beer.

Disappointed with the quality of the food and customer service - Edit
Based on the reviews we were super excited to eat here and got there an hour before closing. We were looked at a little like we were bothersome and not welcomed at all, and reluctantly were offered a table after the waitress hesitated to decide if the kitchen was still open or not. We were really hungry so we ordered a bit more than we could stomach. The oyster mushroom burger we had was a drippy mess with some weird sweet sauce that overpowered the whole flavor of all the other ingredients and the bread was really flimsy, crumbling and bland. The smoked tofu toast would have been delicious if the bread wouldn't have been dry, hard and soaked in cold grease. The omelet was WAY too big for me, given that it's chickpea based, so this one might be great to share. I didn't love the flavor, I personally would have prepared it with less cumin, more moisture and maybe some kala namak. It was okay, nothing I'd order again. We asked for the leftovers to be wrapped up to take home cause we usually never y throw food away, and had to ask several times for our food to be put in a bag that could actually be taken home for which they apologized, but we didn't eat the leftovers after all, they really didn't appeal to us when we tried. Also, we spilled a drink (a very bland homemade lemonade that consisted of mostly lemon and orange pulp with lots of ice and almost no juice), and asked for a napkin, yet the service didn't bother to wipe our table, neither before we sat down (crumbs and sauce from the previous guests were still there) nor after we asked for napkins. Disappointing. Maybe we were just out of luck that day and it's usually much better, but we won't be going back to find out.

Horrible service - Edit
I walked in around 1230 and the first thing someone said was "sorry, kitchen is closed". Someone gestured to the pastry items in the display case as to say that is what was available. Hours posted said they were open until 9pm. I was confused but grabbed some toast with tofu spread to go. I had gone out of my way to visit and wanted to try something. I should have just left. The bread was old and dry and the spread lacked flavor. I took two bites on my way to the park and tossed it. The staff seemed to be in a panic and frantically telling people as they walked in that the kitchen was closed. Whatever occurred could have been handled in a more professional manner. I've worked in restaurants for over 10 years... Nothing good comes from panicking and behaving rudely to your customers. It's a shame because I really wanted to try this place based on other reviews.

Good location, tasty but average food, no credit card payment possible. Freshly made lemonade is a plus. I had the falafel, which was a bit dry and the sauce wasn't flavourful.

Sooooo lovely! - Edit
Oh goodness! I finally got to eat at Moment. No kidding, I had the best pancakes I've ever eaten, served with fresh fruits, date syrup and whipped cream. Combined with a lovely coconut milk cappuccino, it was heavenly! Definitely some of the nicest breakfast dishes I've ever had. Next time I'm in Prague I'll definitely be back, for the food, the atmosphere and the lovely staff :)

Máte? Nemáme! - Edit
