Great spot!

We stopped in for lunch on a visit to Christchurch. I was stoked to see vegan French toast on the menu and it absolutely did not disappoint - one of the best I’ve had. My partner had the chilli scrambled eggs and a potato hash was was also great. Staff were lovely and we liked the extra touches like board games to use and a secondhand book shelf. Highly recommend!

Spur of the Moment

I came here for lunch on a day when practically all the vegan cafes in Christchurch were closed. I think maybe this was my third visit here, the first in five years. Last time I’d been annoyed by the price of the toast. This time I felt the prices were reasonable in the scheme of things, but the options somewhat limited. Staff were lovely though. I ordered the chili scrambled tofu and the hummus bagel. The latter was fine, much as you’d e left, with a substantial seeded bagel. The tofu was pleasantly sour with a hint of chili heat but lacking much umami. The chocolate, peanut butter and banana smoothie was very nice, tasting just like the much-missed Whittaker’s peanut slab. I’d possibly come here again if there were no vegan places were open (as they weren’t this day), but it’s not up there on my list.

Amazing breakfast spot.

Stopped in for breakfast while in Christchurch and had the vegan french toast. It was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. There were a few vegan items on the menu and in the cabinet with vegan options for multiple menu items as well. Staff were very friendly and it has a really nice relaxed decor and atmosphere.

Great vegan options

This place has amazing vegan options on its menu, including a vegan Benedict (using tofu), chickpea crepe, burger etc. The menu changes with the seasons, so there’s always something new to try. The business is also keen on giving back - last Christmas they collected presents to give to children in need.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Great food, Menu changes - so there’s always something new

Cons: In the CBD so parking needs to be paid for, Limited cabinet options

Very good

I just went in to grab some baking from them. The raspberry cupcake was delicious, the Afghan was flavourful but the texture was a bit soft for me but their peanut butter cookie was great. Their food is labeled "pb" meaning plant based - not labelled vegan but the staff were awesome help when I asked if they had vegan baking!

Pros: Vegan options that are delicious, Reasonable prices, Knowledgable staff

Cons: Parking, Labeled pb rather than vegan

Something for all

Don’t judge the lack of atmosphere from outside in this little gem..food was delicious and great coffee.dining was easy with family ..options for every palate!

Très bon café

Un café qui propose des smoothies et des plats pour un budget raisonnable. J'y suis allée par hazard et je me suis régalé avec mon copain. On est tous les deux vegan et je suis sans gluten, et on a pu se régaler dans ce petit café !

Pros: Beaucoup d'options vegan et sans gluten, Très esthétique et sophistiqué, Environnement agréable et moderne

Lots of vegan options.

I had trouble deciding, but ended up with the vegan Benedict. Delicious, and just the right size for breakfast. The vegan dishes in omni places are often unimaginative, but this place has some interesting things I haven’t tried before, like a kind of chickpea bread. Hoping to go back again before we leave Christchurch.

Pros: Lots to choose from., The smoothies looked fantastic too!, Lovely, airy, bright space

Cons: They serve meat.

Really great place!

Took my boyfriend here for birthday breakfast and we loved it. Lots of vegan options on the menu which is always wonderful to see. I got the tofu benedict which was different to standard tofu benedicts, highly recommend that! Food did take a while to come despite being quiet, but we did visit in their very early days so could perhaps be due to that. I would certainly go back.

Delicious big vegan breakfast

Deliciously varied big breakfast, unique, super friendly, lots of options. Big love.

Pros: Vegan breakfast was VERY flavoursome & varied, Generous serving size, Lots of clear and interesting options on menu

Amazing lunch

My wife and I popped in for a quick lunch and were very impressed, the menu was very accommodating to vegans and both our magic mushroom and tofu Benedict dishes were superb! We will definitely be coming back 😊
