Disappointing Service and Major Hygiene Concerns - Edit
The food and atmosphere here are perfectly acceptable, but the shocking behavior and lack of basic hygiene from the staff completely ruined the experience.

Lunch Quality: The food was okay for a simple lunch—not great, but acceptable.
Ambience: The general atmosphere of the restaurant was fine.
Management: The woman who appeared to be the owner or manager seemed to be doing her absolute best to run the place.
Unprofessional Staff Behavior
The rest of the team treated their duties like a complete joke. The following incidents happened in full view of paying customers:
Play-Boxing: Two staff members kept roughhousing and play-boxing with each other.
Offensive Gestures: One of the staff members openly flashed the middle finger at the other.
Severe Hygiene Issues
The most troubling part of the visit involved a specific staff member who was visibly sick and coughing repeatedly:
Uncovered Coughs: He frequently coughed directly into the open air without covering his mouth.
Contaminating Items: When he did cover his mouth, he coughed straight into his hand.
Handling Cutlery: Without washing his hands, he immediately used that same hand to polish cutlery and handle items meant for customer use.
Kitchen Hygiene: This gross, unsanitary behavior continued in the kitchen, where he could still be heard loudly coughing over the food preparation areas.
Final Verdict
This level of roughhousing and blatant disregard for basic hygiene is completely unacceptable, especially for a restaurant in Japan where standards of respect and cleanliness are typically immaculate. Being located in a busy tourist area is no excuse for such unsanitary practices. I cannot recommend eating here.

Glad to find a very rich vegan option but i found the experience here so-so. I didn’t see the yakiudon on the menu, only the vegan grilled curry with soy cutlet and broccoli. This cost more than anything meaty in the menu and sort of rubs me the wrong way.
