Possibly fryer is shared with non-veg food - ask. Open Mon-Fri 11:00am-2:30pm, 4:00pm-9:30pm, Sat 12:00pm-10:00pm, Sun 12:00pm-3:00pm, 3:00pm-5:00pm.

Decent sushi, unimaginative vegan options

We tried Mio Sushi in Beaverton on a windy, rainy day in December. The seating area in front of a short sushi bar was cozy, with bright colors on the walls and clean wooden tables.

The genmaicha tea came pleasingly hot but immediately drinkable and was refilled at regular intervals. That same prompt service applied to the rest of the meal.

Our three rolls came quickly: the Super Veggie, the Inari, and the Green Dragon. All were good but quite simple, lacking anything especially interesting or original. (I would have liked some added crunch or heat.) The Green Dragon was especially tasty and we would order it again, although at $9.50 it was almost twice the price of the others.

The other veggie rolls were either variations of the same ingredients or battered and fried in tempura that we were told contained a little egg.

We consider Mio Sushi a quick way to satisfy a hunger for sushi without making the trip into the city but not a place to treat yourself.
