slow - Edit
The food is incredible but unfortunately the staff seem really confused. I waited 30 minutes for a coffee and 45 minutes for the pho. Possibly the slowest restaurant in Hanoi.

The most delicious food and so well priced! I could happily eat here every day :) The owners are so lovely too. Thank you! I can't wait to come to Hanoi and eat here again.

nice restaurant, nice staff, poor food - Edit
Staff and restaurant was very nice, unfortunatly the food mostly wasn‘t. The summer rolls where ok, but the poorest we had so far. We had as well a dish with tofu and mushrooms on a vietnamstyle „cracker“ we only tried a bit, it was really not tasty and no flavour. Other guests the same evening also did not eaten it. Best where the rosted eggplants with a mushroomscramble topic.

Pricey but delicious - Edit
Friendly waiters even turned the music down when we askes for it. Cozy atmosphere but some seats were a bit uncomfy (Asian style, very low) so we changed :)
Read moreThe dishes are a bit pricey but you get great food for it so it's worth it. I had tofu in black leaves in a claypot (do not remember the name but you will recognise it in the menu), never had something like that before. My girlfriend went for glassnoodles and enjoyed it a lot. They also have vegan pizza. Looked interesting but we did not try. All in all highly recommended.

Best food in Vietnam!! - Edit
This place is unique in every way. Stylish and clean and seriously the best dinner we had in Vietnam: we had four dishes and each of them was extraordinary in terms of the combination of the ingredients, the balance of flavor, and the presentation of the food. Newly opened on beer street, so rather noisy neighborhood.

Pretty good but overpriced - Edit
Everything is vegan, which is great because you don't have to ask. But the flavor is pretty lacking for me. I went twice and the first time I got pho- very bland compared to other pho I've had at food stalls. The second time was a little better but still seriously lacking considering the price. Still much cheaper than America, but it's really pricy for Hanoi. The staff speaks some English though and are extremely friendly!

Pretty Yummo - Edit
This little chain is bloody good! We’ve ordered the pho, the Hanoi rolls and a strange tofu mushroom pancake thing. All very, very yummy! It took a little to come out, but the server was new and apologised a bunch so I forgive him! It’s got a chill vibe and I plan on eating there again tonight, so.... must be good, hey!

Good food but not all - Edit
I went many times and the quality of food is variable. Some dishes are quite good and some you really need to avoid. If you're unlucky to have ordered the ones to avoid you will never come back for sure. The snail noodle soup however is awesome. They also have a vegetable dish that's quite good (I don't remember the name).
Read moreThey need to upgrade their music, often they play the same song over and over (and every day that same song) so if you don't bring your own music and earphones it can drive you nuts.
Another thing I didn't like was the strong chemical smell of their toilet, every time the door opens (and many costumers leave the door open after they leave the toilet) this pungent smell spreads into the restaurant.
Staff is friendly though and sometimes even brings a dessert for free.
Pros: Some very nice dishes, Friendly staff
Cons: Some unsatisfying dishes, Rather expensive, Terrible music and chemical odours from toilet

Me and my boyfriend went to this restaurant about 4 times while being in Hanoi, it was so good we just couldn’t resist. Some of the best food we have had so far, I’m vegan but he’s not and he really enjoyed it so good for everyone! Try the fried oyster mushrooms, and the fresh spring rolls, delish!

Overall Good - Edit
Overall the food was great but a bit overpriced in my opinion. I had the vegan sausages, which were really yummy and actually tasted like the real thing, in a good way ;) The Pho was not my favourite, it was too simple and plain for me, I had imagined something more spectacular, but the Caramen was delicious! Just a bit small. Overall good, and if you are in hanoi I would visit the place.

Popped into Minh Chay for their creme caramel, it was tasty enough but not that flavoursome. The rest of their menu looked interesting, lots of mock meat takes on local dishes. Good service and clean restaurant.

Pricey, and not completely vegan - Edit
I've tried their food couple of times, and I can say It's good vegan Vietnamese food, but nothing special. Vegan Pho is definitely overrated. And unfortunately, some of my friends, who allergic to milk, got allergy by drinking their "vegan milk" coffee.

Not vegan... lie about food contents. - Edit
DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO MILK OR WANT TO EAT SOMETHING TRUELY VEGAN. We ate here yesterday. They claim to be fully vegan and so we ordered the vegan pizza with vegan cheese. I have a milk allergy and got a severe reaction after eating this, had tot go to the hospital. We asked the staff if there was any milk in it, and after getting the answer "it's vegan cheese" about five times, they finally admitted that there was "a little bit of dairy" in the pizza.
