Soooo good!

Brilliant place. The best coffee and food very good value. This spot was extremely busy when we went so I would recommend getting there early.

Okay!

I definitely agree with some of the reviews in finding Milk & Honey 'mid'. While I was grateful to have some breakfast options in Nashville near my hotel, it could be far better.

Several options

Had breakfast, the staff was friendly and helpful with several items marked as available with a vegan option . Server basically said most dishes could be vegan friendly with ingredient substitutions or modifications. Would definitely go again.

Pros: Knowledgeable staff, Food was fresh and tasty , Wait times were short for seating and service.

There are better local options...

I do appreciate having vegan options. With that said, if you are going to offer vegan options, please make them tasty. I got the big kid breakfast. There was at most two tablespoons of cold mushy yellow tofu baby food style. My toast was cold and I had to send it back and it came back warm but with no spread so then I had to ask for jam. My daughter got the vegan burrito that was so wet from the same Mushy tofu she had a puddle on her plate. On top of that, there was so much extra tortilla that most of her bites were just bread and she left about a third of the tortilla uneaten. The soy vegetables were pretty tasty but I had to leave half of it because it was all onions and the home fries were okay. It was also nice getting fresh berries. My daughter also liked the lavender latte with oat milk.

Pros: Helpful staff, Fair pricing

Cons: Small amount of tofu, Cold food, Noisy

Great breakfast in Nashville

Staff were so friendly! Not tonnes of choice for vegans but enough IMO and portion sizes were good, not crazily big and not too small vs costs. Open from 6am too so perfect for early starts. Gorgeous interior too.

Has Vegan Choices Despite the Name

When we are looking for a breakfast place to go with our friends who are not vegan this is one of our go to places. Has several clearly marked vegan meals and drinks. Our waiter was able to provide us with good information on what was and was not vegan. We have been here a few times but once they served us real meat. Thankfully we caught it as they do not have vegan meats.

Pros: Vegan options clearly marked

Cons: Limited options , Really busy at times

Don’t recommend for vegans

"There were a few items on the menu that could be made vegan. I ordered the tofu scramble with veggies burrito, but unfortunately, the tofu was over-seasoned with turmeric, giving it a curry-like taste, which wasn't to my liking. Aside from the 1.5-hour wait and the food not meeting expectations, our server was friendly and efficient.

Pros: Few vegan options

Cons: Long wait time

Did not understand what vegan was

Menu states certain meals can be made vegan. I asked for a vegan burrito, brought me one with egg and cheese and were completely perplexed when I asked for it to be remade vegan. Staff was very rude and food was not good.

Delicious Coconut Latte

The server suggested the coconut latte, and it had such a nice flavor. They said its a blend of condensed coconut milk and oat milk, with espresso. I also had the hot fries and kale salad, which can be made vegan without parmesan cheese. No complaints there; pretty basic with craisins and almonds and champagne vingarette.

Pros: Vegan options are clearly labeled on the main menu

Cons: Seems like you have to ask for the vegan menu

Have your Breakfast here !!!

The food was excellent! So was the service. The staff is very considerate of food allergies and preferences. Great vegan options and the staff will make alterations to anything they can to accommodate food allergies and preferences.

Protein bowl was mostly kale

I love kale but the protein bowl left us hungry after our meal. It was mostly kale with a few bites of tofu scramble and a light sprinkling of rice. The dressing was creative, though!

Pros: Dressing

Cons: Hand to send back when mistakenly served w/ cheese, It’s a salad— not a protein bowl

A few vegan options

I had the vegan breakfast burrito. It was different. Tasted more like curry tofu scramble with mint leaves.. definitely interesting. But happy to have a vegan option. Burrito was also too soggy to hold.

Pros: Vegan options

Great vegan options!

My husband and I came here while on a trip to Nashville, and it was delicious! We sat at the bar bc the wait was long. I had the vegan avocado toast, which was so filling, and I loved the vegan egg on top! Will definitely come here again.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Good prices

Cons: Long waits

3.5 Stars

Food was flavorful, tried the vegan breakfast burrito and a Matcha. Sat at the bar because the wait for a table was over an hour. The food tasted good, but the Tofu scramble inside was barely noticeable. Not a heart meal, but cool spot to go for a meal. Just beware of the wait time if you're in a rush.

overall a fan

pros: entirely separate vegan menu with many options (pic attached), portions are large and prices are very reasonable for what you get

cons: extreeeemly busy, we had like a 2.5 hour wait for our table, but luckily it’s in the gulch so there’s a ton you can do around there to keep yourself busy and once you’re seated, the service is quick. my biggest con is that i found a very long thick dark hair (so i know it can’t be mine) wedged into my meal. i was so grossed out that it turned me off of what was actually a very good meal. they should monitor their hairnet situation because it really is gross when that happens 🤮 but otherwise i was a fan!!!

Great options, but very busy

My sister and I found this place on a weekend trip to Nashville. I am vegan and she is not so it was great that there were many options for both of us. I ended up getting the vegan scramble burrito. It was tasty and filling, but very messy! We ended up having to wait for spots at the bar to open up. The place was PACKED so just beware of that. Make a reservation!

Filling and tasty

The wait here can be pretty long, but the food is great. I enjoyed my vegan option breakfast burrito. I got home fries with it and added in avocado.

Pros: A good amount of vegan options
