Best Burger ever! - Edit
Friends and I ordered take-away food at Mikunas, because it has become quite difficult to get a table there at certain hours. The food was just ready to be picked up at the agreed time and packed in 100% biodegradable packaging:)
Read moreI had the "Burger´n" which without doubt was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten!!!
10 out of 10 points for that. It is very meat-true, which I know some people dont like, but for me with the onion rings and the sweet chili sauce it was just perfect.
My friends had the Chili sin Carne which they loved, but I have to say that it wasnt quite to my taste...well, taste is very subjective:)
Furthermore, the price for the burger was really not bad compared to what you get (it is quite big).
Unfortunately, the menu holds a lot of sandwiches and bread, which I generally am not the biggest fan of, and few "real meals", but I hope that is something that will be changed by time:)
All in all: really recommendable!
Pros: Delicious burger, Completely vegan, Good value for money
Cons: The menu mainly consists of sandwiches, It is not possible to book a table

Nice place, good food. - Edit
I went there twice, the first time to try the dahl, the second time to try the burger.
Read moreI found the dahl fine but not the tastiest version of it, it lacked of herbs and spices and could have contained some more vegetables. Two tiny portions of (excellent) bread were serve with it (on demand), I wish there was a lot more.
The burger was a different experience, it's pretty big and tasty ; different from the usual vegan burgers I tried here and there, really worth it. I took a portion of chocolate cake/pie too and that was amazingly good.

Best vegan burger so far - Edit
See title :)
Read moreThe place is small and has space for 5 groups or about 25 people.
The menu is small but I think that is a good thing.
The meals all looked like they are prepared with a lot of attention and care :)
While the burger and sandwich where enough by themselves, the Dal portion looked quite small.
Pros: They source almost everything organic, No disposable plastic items (also not for takeaway
Cons: There are no toilets.

Quality 'feel-good-food'! - Edit
Mikuna is in my opinion, the best vegan cafe in Denmark. Amazing burgers and sandwiches imitating some traditional types of sandwiches. Friendly staff, and a chill vibe in there.
Read moreOnly minus is the space - I've found myself to be lucky if I can find a table there, so most of the time while living in Aarhus, I've brought it home with me.
Oh, and don't forget to try their cakes! Yummy!

If you are in Århus, this is definately the place to go! I know many vegans in Århus and this is the overall favourite place to all of us. I also have many non-vegan friends who go here, because it IS that great! Especially the tuna sandwich and the burger'n. wow. They have gluten free options as well!

Best vegan food in Aarhus! - Edit
If you like hearty, delicious comfort-y vegan food, especially with "meat substitutes", then Mikuna is the place to go! This will blow even a meat eaters mind. Everything is tasty no matter if you buy sandwich, burger, cake or something fourth.
Read moreThe cafe is a bit small and often crowded - but it is officially a take away place after all. No customer toilet unfortunately.
Pros: All vegan food cafe with something for everyone

Whenever I get new friends who's sceptic about veganism I tell them to try the burgers at Mikuna. Most are positively surprised. This is a "non-vegan friendly" place. Most of their dishes contains meat-looking substitutes.

One of the best burgers I've eaten! - Edit
We were welcomed by a friendly staff, then we ordered two different burgers. A staff from the kitchen served us the burgers. Glad, that everything was vegan! The burgers were juicy, I liked it! Very delicious! I would have still been happier, if the had whole grain buns too (as in many other vegan restaurants).
Read moreThere is no bathroom and they unfortunately don't offer tap water. I think, it's a little bit strange to buy a coconut water if you theoretically could have a glass tap water instead.
I would give 5 stars, when they would offer tap water.
Pros: friendly staff, very tasty burgers
Cons: no tap water, no bathroom
