A nice pit stop - Edit
I found this restaurant on happy cow when looking for a place to stop on a long drive. Their menu has several clearly marked vegan items including salads, rice bowls, smoothie bowls, and a soup of the day. It's located in a very cool multi use office space with different shops and services.
Read moreI got the yellow curry bowl and added tofu. With tip, I paid over $20 for lunch. It feels like a bit much for a rice bowl, but it was decent. There was only one employee working who was quick and efficient.

New Place for Us in Longview - Edit
We stopped by during a local event. They had a good Selection of vegan and vegetarian options. I had the curry bowl. Excellent!

Several rice bowls, acai bowls, and salads that are either vegan or easily made vegan. Nice seating area with well-spaced tables.

Curry Bowl and Split Pea Soup - Edit
Stopped at The Merck for takeout today as a treat to myself. Got the curry bowl without any modifications. It’s tasty and filling but not at all spicy. I guess I was expecting it to have at least a little bite to it - which is probably good that it doesn’t as my stomach is sensitive. I got the split pea soup - today’s vegan soup special - to eat later. I tasted it though and it tastes quite good but is a thinner consistency than I was expecting - like the server didn’t stir the pot before ladling out the soup. However it is good enough to save for later to eat with some crusty bread. It’s nice to have this fast and healthy vegan option in Longview. I will keep going back and trying the other vegan options.

Tomatillo Bowl - Edit
We were traveling from Portland to Seattle and got hungry. We ended up at the Merkantile Cafe in the Merk Mall. We shared the tomatillo bowl and added tofu. Nothing special. Tomatillo sauce was good. The tofu was just a chopped up block, no seasoning or searing. Would not recommend adding the tofu. Seating in the center of the mall. The shops were specialty shops with boutique feel. Surrounded by holiday decorations, I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie.
