they have vegetarian options for my favourite food and that makes me really happy! i've eaten from here a few times, so delicious.

Delicious Vegan Tacos!

Mercadito Latino is a great local, family-run restaurant serving a variety of authentic Salvadorean and Central American meals in Winnipeg's West End.

I recently visited here for dinner on July 18, 2020 and have previously eaten here as well. On my most recent visit, I ordered the vegetarian tacos which consisted of corn tortillas filled with refried beans, avocado, and pico de gallo and a side of homemade salsa. They were delicious and satisfying! The menu has other vegan/vegetarian options as well including bean pupusas, corn tamales and other dishes which I was impressed by.

The service is friendly and they also have a small store within the restaurant with authentic food products from Central America. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy and it feels like you're eating in the home of a local.
