Amazing meal and experience! - Edit
My server was Miguel and he was AWESOME!! I sat at the bar and really enjoyed our conversation - he speaks very good English and we discussed everything from our hometowns to the cost of living in Malaga.
Read moreI had the fried olives to start with a glass of wine (I took a photo of the bottle but can’t recall the label) that paired VERY well with my meal!
I ate their flagship “Meet Sandwich” and got a side o’ fries - the fries are great; wedge style but with a pocket in the middle to scoop with and were perfectly salted! They have a lot of delish sauces to order to dip into which for me is always AWESOME! I got the cilantro citrus I believe and it was really light but flavorful! The house sauce is a bit heavier with a peanut butter base so hold onto your socks if you’re expecting light flava’ there! Cuz it ain’t! Thick and full of nuanced flavor!!

Absolutely delicious and imaginative food - Edit
Contrary to what one reviewer said earlier, this tiny restaurant/bar has the advantage of chefs who can create a delicious and imaginative menu. Please do visit this place if you get a chance. I chose the broccolini side as a starter, my husband chose the sweetcorn starter and both were full of flavour. For the mains I chose the truffle edamame dumplings and my husband had the salmon-style tofu (don’t expect a salmon texture - it’s definitely tofu), again both were really tasty. I forgot to take pictures, but hopefully there are plenty already taken. You may want to reserve in advance because the restaurant space is tiny. The server spoke English and was so nice to us.

We had two meals in one day at Meet Vegano. It was a great find in Malaga.
Read moreThey are very creative with their food and it is delicious. We had the ”salmon” bococchini dish, which was delicious. We also had the oyster mushroom burger.
For dinner we had the dumplings which were amazing and the brownie with ice cream which I HIGHLY recommend! Staff was super friendly and spoke good English. There were also two adorable dogs in the restaurant (which only has 5 tables and two seats at the bar) which I thought was great!

Wonderful - Edit
Wonderful place with a great menu and nice staff. Hard to think of any cons – the location is good (walked there by accident) and the place is nice. Shared many portions with a non-vegan friend and we both loved everything we tasted!

Overpriced and uninspired - Edit
I really don't know what the hype is about, yet one of my best friends also said he went here three times this last weekend as he loved it so much. I really didn't. I had the deep fried olives, exactly as described with a clunky uneven tasteless crumb batter, and wasabi mayo without the slightest hint of wasabi or indeed anything else. Massive portion though. For the main I had the Meet sandwich described as "the signature", it excited me at first and is by far the messiest sandwich I've ever eaten, but I quickly got bored with its shouty flavours that didn't really work together and I could tell I'd get heartburn if I finished it. I didn't finish either the starter or the main, I can't tell you the last time that happened. So I didn't bother staying for dessert. These just aren't anywhere near good enough to be €18 plates.

Cons: Greasy and shouty, Massively overpriced

Amazing vegan food that's hard to come by in Spain - Edit
We enjoyed an amazing dinner at this small place, seating perhaps 14 in total.
Read moreStarter:
Bao buns, small but amazing
Mains:
Tofu "salmon" with crispy tomatoes
Tempeh, braised in wine sauce - one of the best ones I've ever had
Desert:
Mochi bowl with pistachio ice cream - a bit bland compared to the rest but still nice.
Service was spot on and without long waits.
Definitely recommend to come here, make sure you reserve in advance via WhatsApp or Instagram.

Good food but really expensive for wir you get. After I finished the food I’ve been ask to finish my drink at the bar even though I was thinking about ordering a desert…

I think you had exactly what I had, the olives with mayo (mine was wasabi but you'd never know it) followed by the Meet burger. And I had exactly the same reaction. Maybe that's a sign to others to choose other options 😂

Quality food - slightly overpriced - Edit
The food was very good with lots of flavour, I had the crunchy meet burger(toasted) and the lotus cheese cake with a hazelnut latte. The restaurant is very small as they only have 6 tables and it was not full when I ate there but it was a very long wait to get our food and an even longer wait for the cheesecake this alone is the reason I have not given them 5*

Deep. Fried. Olives. - Edit
How have I never had deep fried olives before? I challenge any olive skeptic to dislike them.
Read moreOK, it’s a little on the pricey side (£58 for two without dessert - we were too full, not too cheap 😄) but the food was very good and the menu quite different from a lot of other vegan establishment. Haven’t seen red wine marinaded tempeh or beetroot bao buns anywhere else. Shame/good job we were just in Malaga for the day or we’d have gone through the entire menu and been fat and broke. Highly recommended for a treat 👍

Quite simply the best vegan food I've had in a long time. So good we went twice over a long weekend in Malaga. Fabulous drinks list. We went back for the garlic and parm cauliflower wings which was sublime. Main courses the burger were amazing as was the tempeh.

Cozy vegan place, a bit overpriced - Edit
We shared the gochujang cauliflower "wings" and the pretzel burger, which we enjoyed, but we expected more given the price. However, the lotus cheesecake and the rosemary negroni cocktail were really special, so we thought it deserved 4 stars despite the prices.

Went here twice as the food is so good. Being vegan chefs we have high expectations and were not disappointed. Great flavours, innovative ideas, beautiful friendly staff, lovely cute little space with wonderful ambience and that Grapefruit Rose Spritzer Cocktail is delightful. You must go here if in Malaga.

Very delicious and creative menu. No "artificial" meet replacements but things like tofu and tempeh. The place is quite small unfortunately so reservation is needed. Also they could try to get faster in preparing the food. Overall very nice!

Amazing food and attentive service. - Edit
This place is a total hit. It's tiny, so if you're visiting in a busy period, it might be worth booking ahead. I had the deep fried olives (what an amazing idea!) and their signature Meet sandwich which was so much more than just a sandwich. The combo of tofu in a savoury, slightly nutty sauce, crunchy cucumbers and tangy sundried tomatoes is just divine. The service was lovely and attentive without being too overbearing. The place felt friendly and unpretentious. If you're in Malaga, you shouldn't miss Meet Vegano!
