Burgers so good a meat eater will enjoy it. - Edit
I was recommended MeeT On Main when I went to Vancouver to visit a couple of friends with my sister, a frequent meat eater. When we got there they were very quick seating us and our orders were in within the first 15 minutes of us being there. Despite hesitations from my sister on whether the veggie burgers would be good, she decided to give it a shot and order it. The table ordered the whiskey BBQ burger, the mighty mac burger, the soup of the day, and the Not-cho fries. As well the the chikkin' wings. The only issue we found with the food is that we loved it so much we stuffed ourselves and were unable to finish our food (which we took back with us for later). My sister was amazed at their signature burger (in both taste and overall texture) and the mighty mac burger was delicious. It was nice to have a menu that I could order anything off of rather than having to pick between two okay-ish things that need additional modifications.

The nacho fries are everything! - Edit
I've enjoyed everything I've had at Meet (and I've eaten there a lot), but the nacho fries in particular are delicious! It's also a great place to bring an omnivore — I've brought many friends and family members to Meet and they've always been impressed and really enjoyed their meals. I think awesome and accessible vegan food like at Meet makes a difference in convincing people to go vegan.

Salty but delicious! - Edit
We went here because we were able to get in faster on a busy Friday night as compared to other nearby restaurants. It was only about a 15-20 minute wait, and the staff were friendly.
Read moreThe menu all looks really good; I would like to go back and try a bowl next time. There are salads, grain-centered bowls, burgers and others. Got a non-alcoholic ginger beer, which was tasty. I ended up getting the BBQ burger which had Chao cheese, crispy onions, and a patty that was fried in beer batter. It was really good. Came with a yummy and simple side salad and fries. I had trouble finishing the burger because it was quite salty but it was tasty overall.

Mac and cheese heaven - Edit
If you’re in Vancouver, you NEED to visit MeeT! I came with my Omni friend for dinner after a long day of exploring the city and it was the perfect end! She got the bowl of Mac and cheese and I ordered the Mighty Mac Burger (we’re Mac and cheese lovers!). It was a very popular spot on a Saturday night, but we only had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated even though the entire restaurant was full. The food was amazing!! We couldn’t even finish and we wished we had room to try a dessert. Definitely will come back and try more of the menu!

amazing food - Edit
I visited only once but I really liked the burger I had. I also tried the butter chicken which was delicious too. Also the cheesecake I had for dinner was very good. All the other food i saw around looked super tasty too. Nice atmosphere. Was super crowded (went there about 9pm). Highly recommending!

wonderful vegan food - Edit
I always go out to Meet with my non-veg friends, they love it. The service is always so kind and lovely but when busy it can get slow, understandably so! This place is always packed! I’ve tried all of their burgers, I find that they are hit and miss at this location (always top notch in Gastown) but I love the butter chicken poutine! Honestly everything is great and the portions are huge. Highly recommend especially if you’re visiting Vancouver, it’s a must!

Loved it! - Edit
They do a really great job making tasty vegan versions of dishes that are classically made with dairy. Poutine and spinach dip were very yummy! Flavours were really great and service was lovely.

LOVED this place! - Edit
We arrived after the kitchen had been without power on a Saturday afternoon. They let us order drinks (nice selection of beers on tap). When the kitchen was back up & running, we ordered a verity of burgers, YUMMY. The food was out to us in 15 minutes. Loved the food and actually were impressed with the service. We plan to go back!

I love Meet. I come here at least once a week because the food is so great. Tasty and always hits the spot. Be sure to opt for sitting outside if you do not want to sit inside with all the noise.

Their burgers are so delicious I've barely tried anything else on the menu (their double bacon 'cheese'burger is outstanding!), but my friends say that some of their other menu items are equally as delicious. Desserts are top quality too...great casual dining place!

Comfort food at its best - Edit
I am glad to see Meet On Main doing so well that they now have a Gastown location, too.
Read moreHands down, the best vegan comfort food in Vancouver. Portions are hefty, I always end up with a to-go box.
I tried most things on their menu and they are really good, the only thing that I was not a fan of is the Angry burger (too spicy). Also, I am really happy with their drink selection. As a vegan, you can rarely find vegan creamy coffee with liquor or a vegan Caesars at regular bars and restaurants. Whenever I go to Meet, I always get one of their veganized drinks and they taste as delicious as their food.
Pros: Tasty, Friendly staff, Vegan drinks
Cons: Lineups

Would Try Again - Edit
I went here for lunch and ordered the Seoul Bowl. I was excited because I've heard a lot about this place, but honestly was a little underwhelmed. The design is pleasant and the staff were really friendly, but I found the bowl really salty without much other flavour. I'd go back to try something else on the menu, but it didn't quite live up to what I thought it would. Also on a side note, the music inside was too loud for me personally.

Tasty Vegan Meals and Friendly Service! Definitely Eat Here! - Edit
I ate lunch at Meet on Main on my last day in Vancouver and thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. I ordered the Beet Salad and it was scrumptious and filling. The portion sizes were very generous.
Read moreThere was lots of seating inside the restaurant and I enjoyed the window seats looking out to Main Street. My server was also very friendly, prompt and professional and I liked the funky and unique decor around the interior of the restaurant.
I loved that the entire menu was vegan and the majority of their dishes were also gluten-free. There was a wide variety of menu offerings to choose from (appetizers, bowls, salads, burgers, fries and more) and everything sounded delicious.
I look forward to coming back to eat here again when I visit Vancouver next time!
Pros: Delicious Vegan Food, Friendly Service

Eat Here! - Edit
Food was great! I think this was the first time I had to wait to eat at a Vegan restaurant. 30 minutes or so!! It reminded me of the old days several years ago before switching to vegan waiting to be seated blah blah blah what I'm trying to say it is it's good to see so many people interested in vegan food. Also, I never go for the mock burgers but I was impressed with the ones here. Good stuff all around.

It's (one of) the first places we stop before and after our border crossing. It's amazing. Great service; goofy old movies on a tiny tube tv; cool art; and most of all: destination-worthy eats. Go here.
