Delicious food, fun vibe - Edit
This is a nice, fun restaurant with outstanding variety and quality of vegan foods. Sometimes "fancy vegan" doesn't have good serving sizes - not the case here! You get a good amount of food (but not too much), it's extremely tasty, and the menu is varied enough to suit different palates multiple times.

Shared the oyster mushroom kalamari, broccoli soup, butter chikkin(subbed rice for the noods), and Philly cheezesteak poutine among three of us, topped off with the rocky road ganache tart. The kalamari and poutine were outstanding (cheeze so tasty and stretchy it was suspect!). Such a satisfying meal. Please expand to the Prairies.

Gnocchi! - Edit
My boyfriend and I ordered (for delivery) a MeeT-lovers sammy and whipped feta gnocchi. The sammy, unfortunately, was over-salted, and my boyfriend was not a fan. However, the gnocchi was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever eaten. The gnocchi (even barely warm from delivery) was so so good. The pesto was fresh and light, while the whipped feta was the perfect creamy touch. I am looking forward to trying something else next time!

Frustratingly inconsistent - Edit
This is a frustrating review to write because there are quite a few things I like about the MeeT restaurants - I've been to all 3 quite a few times.
Read moreWe tried the brunch for the first time this past Sunday and it was a disappointing experience. I ordered the waffles & berries…they were fine, nothing spectacular but good. However it is just one circular waffle cut into its four sections and laid out across one of their long rectangular plates with berries, whipped cream & maple syrup on the side.
$14.50 for ONE waffle?
My husband ordered The Full English so we could share savory and sweet. Despite the menu description, it’s not what I would describe as a 'bonkers platter'. For $19.75 I expected a larger platter, more food. I can't eat a lot at one time so if I could finish off a plate of food and still be hungry, it's not a bonkers portion. When they brought out the plate, the tofu scramble was cold and all the other items were just barely warm. They remade it…which I would expect, but then we had to eat the waffles or they'd get cold and the cream would melt…so we don’t have the food together. When they brought out the second plate, the tofu was decently warm as were the potatoes but all the other items still weren’t hot. And it took a little long to come the second time around. It came quite quickly the first time so why was it not fresh and hot?
Now I don’t trust them to try any of their other brunch items, and would not recommend it.
The up side is they took it off our bill and our server was lovely and helpful.
They’re so inconsistent with their portions, still the best value for getting what you pay for are their burgers platters. Everything else is a bit of a gamble.

Great Caesar salad - Edit
It’s been years since I had a satisfying vegan Caesar salad and MeeT delivered, especially with their crispy oyster mushroom “calamari” on top. I visited during Happy Hour (3-5pm) and so it was an even better deal plus craft beers were only $5.50 for a pint. So many other items I wanted to try!

Attentive and friendly servers! Salads, bowls, poutine and burgers on the menu. Felt like having something known to be Canadian on my first night in Vancouver so treated myself to the poutine. Didn’t enjoy this version as much as versions I’ve had elsewhere but thoroughly enjoyed the kombucha flavour made in-house. Bustling street with plenty of space indoors with candles adding to the ambience. Was under $25 with a tip and tax.

We had food delivered from Meet in Yaletown on our first night in Vancouver. I had the mucho gusto burger, I can’t stop thinking about the black bean patty and it’s been weeks! I also had a little mountain of fries and they are right, it’s a really generous portion! They even tasted nice cold at 4 am in morning (don’t judge me 😂 I wasn’t well on our trip and couldn’t sleep). My husband had the sweet chilli cauliflower which was nice, I think it would have been even better in the restaurant when it was just cooked.

Reliable vegan meal - Edit
Great location downtown in walking distance to the Sheraton Wall Centre. Many vegan restaurants in Vancouver close early or are annoyingly not open on Monday! But you can always depend on Meet- they are open every day and are open late.

Visiting from NS so my friends and I all ordered something different and had a mini taste test session to make the most of our experience. The Butter Chikkin Poutine was a huge hit, as was the XO broccoli (very savoury, broccoli cooked just right). I also enjoyed the Beet Salad which, bonus, had chickpeas in it for a little protein bump and the tastes blended well with each other. Had the Elder Flower Soda (mostly out of curiosity) and it was very pleasant and refreshing as well. Will definitely be recommending! Hey MeEt, you wanna open up a place in Halifax? Because we could totally use you!!!!

GF waffles are an entire section, not just one item. Brunch is the BUSINESS here! Highly recommend. And really excited to also try the moon-Brunch items. Brunch just happens to be my favorite meal of the day.
Portions are perfect to share. It’s comfort food focused, but everything still tastes fresh and not as heavy as you would think.

Absolutely loved the food and cocktails. We came here for dinner and brunch and everything was fantastic! The fries in the poutine were thicker cut, yet still perfectly crispy. It is a crime that I can't find a comparable dish in the states.
