Vegan restaurant est. 2010. Offers changing menu of different kinds of dishes. Daily lunch menu from Monday to Friday includes either a soup or a dessert. Uses mostly local and seasonal ingredients. No alcohol served but a selection of alcohol-free wine and even champagne. Breakfast served on weekends. Kitchen closes on Mon-Thu at 9:30pm. Companion animal friendly. Open Tue-Thu 17:00-22:00, Fri 11:30-22:30, Sat 10:00-22:30, Sun 10:00-22:00. Kitchen closes at 9.30pm Tue-Thur and 10pm Fri-Sun. Open days vary, so call ahead.

Es fällt so schwer sich zu entscheiden, weil jedes Gericht so verlocken klingt! Das Essen ist wahnsinnig schön angerichtet und die Portionen sind absolut sättigend. Es ist so schön, so einfach und normal veganes Essen zu bestellen ohne ätzendes nachfragen. Super lecker, super frisch und super nett! Absolute Empfehlung!

It’s so cool to have German traditional food! Whenever I travel since I’m vegan I’m always a bit frustrated to only eat burger and pizza (and I love them), and not traditional food. It’s easier to do burger or pizza, it’s way more difficult to reproduce a classic in vegan. And here, they do it!

Very overprized for an ordinary meal - Edit
20€ for "kartoffeltraum" where the spinach did not taste very good. The half cold soup was good but not that good for the prize as well as the other foods we ordered. If I cook at home I can do it better or similair so to pay 20€ for a half good meal is ridiculous. For this prize I expect extraordinary food but this was not what we got.

Eine Woche zuvor musste ich reservieren, um einen Platz meiner Wahl zu bekommen, weil die Tische schnell gebucht sind. Ich habe den "Kartoffeltraum" bestellt, der wirklich gut geschmeckt hat. Mein Dessert - der "Snickerskuchen" - war äußerst schmackhaft. Wie jedes vegane Restaurant ist auch Max Pett alles andere als günstig. Aber der Besuch beim Max Pett ist es definitiv wert. Als Veganer sowieso. Eine erneute Stippvisite wird sicherlich gemacht.

I was pretty hyped to eat Schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn again, especially the Kaiserschmarrn is something that I hardly ever find vegan! Everything we ordered was really good. The portions were not huge, but in my opinion they were just right. As most other reviewers I agree that the prices are a bit above-average.

They apologised though and offered us a free scoop of ice cream of our choice. (The Snickers ice cream is very much recommended)

Read moreI came here twice , in 2019 and in 2022. The first time I came to try the beyond burger, bc It is still not available in Japan! It was scarily close to real meat!!
The atmosphere is also very nice, loved the terrace!
The food is more than delicious, but we had to wait quite long both times since the restaurant is very busy (seemed like there weren’t enough staff)
Also the prices are quite high, but the portions are big! For me too big personally, so I recommend taking some home if you can’t finish it.
