One of my favourite places im Vienna - Edit
It's a cute, small and cozy restaurant very tastefully decorated. They have a lot of vegan options. Everything I tried so far was delicious! In addition, they also display and sell handcrafted Japanese pottery and arts. Very beautiful to look at even if you don't buy anything.

Tasty and homey Japanese food - Edit
Very tasty, homey Japanese food. Their vegan “tapas” (their term, not mine) selection was very tasty and well portioned. I also really enjoyed their vegan avocado and black seaweed onigiri. Service is very friendly and everything we had was high quality and tasty. Would definitely recommend!

Really good variety of dishes. There are several vegan bento boxes that come with miso soup, a main, rice, and vegan tapas (basically different veggie/seaweed dishes). They also have plenty of other vegan dishes plus mochi for dessert. The staff is really friendly and the place is nice to sit in.

Rude staff that didn’t want to help - Edit
We were super excited to come eat at the place but didn’t have a reservation. We got in and the waiter didn’t want to help us. We asked if there were any openings and if we could wait - he mumbled a few times and didn’t seem bothered. We then asked if the tables behind us were going to open because they were done eating. He said come back in 20 mins. We smiled and said thank you will do. We came back in 20 minutes and he ignored my dad and told us there are now no tables. We asked why and he just said because they’re aren’t any.

Best authentic Japanese food I had since I lived in Japan - Edit
So many options, so little space in my tummy. I order the eggplant bento set, udon, Jasmine tea and dango. It was so good I couldn't stop eating even when my stomach screamed at me to stop. It felt like I was in Japan again. A must go to place!

My words cannot describe this Japanese dinner experience well enough. Warm ambient, super kind staff and delicious vegan food. I ordered Nasu Dengaku Bento, which came with Miso soup, 4 Japanese vegetable tapas, fried aubergines with Miso paste🤤 and rice. Unreal. The following day I came back and ordered vegan ramen, which was also super yum! I will definitely come back, when in Vienna.

Read moreWir entschieden uns für eine Onigiri Bento Box, die auf Wunsch vegan zubereitet wird. Diese beinhaltet eine Miso Suppe, 2 Onigiri, Japanische Tapas, eingelegtes Gemüse und ein halbes Mochi mit Erdbeere.
Außerdem haben wir uns noch Agedashi Tofu und Edamame bestellt.
Alle Gerichte waren von hoher Qualität und sehr lecker.
Die Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen und serviert, der Service war sehr freundlich.
Optimal wäre es noch, wenn die veganen Speisen auf der Speisekarte besser hervorgehoben werden, dass war leider nicht bei allen Speisen der Fall. Nachdem wir uns aber wegen den veganen Gerichten erkundigt hatten, konnte man uns sagen welche vegan sind.
Das Lokal selbst ist sehr schön eingerichtet und bietet viele nette Details und Dekorationen. Außerdem gibt es einen gemütlichen Gastgarten und vor dem Lokal einen kleinen Schanigarten.

Underrated! Vienna‘s most stylish restaurant in my opinion. We went there frequently and haven‘t received anything non-vegan yet. I recommend the Kitsune Udon or the Nasu Dengaku Meal Set. With around 13 Euro per dish, this restaurant is on the pricier side.
