One of the best pastries I’ve had - Edit
One of the best pastries I’ve had including those I’ve had before going vegan. The sweet ones are terrific, and the savory ones are shockingly delicious. A must visit place in Amsterdam.

The cheese croissant and the pain au chocolate was so good. Never tasted something better! The pistachio rose danish was overwhelming! The coffee was great!

Read moreIn all honesty the sit in location is beautiful but not a nice place to sit. Due to the big, open, and empty space its very noisy. The seating options are either a wall-long, angular bench with low, round, metal (you hear it, very loudly, everytime someone puts down a plate or cup) black tables or one of the 3 bar seats. All this give it a waiting room vibe which is not what I want when I want to sit down, relax an enjoy some good food.
Of course there are some benches outside as well.
Sadly, for me, design and going for a stylish modern interior has absolutely compromised comfort. I mean, it looks good but I won't sit inside again unless I have too.
Drinks and pastries are still absolutely delicious, just like the other location. Only downside to this was that the cardamom bun and the ham and cheese croissant both were sold out pre 12 PM which is before lunchrush so that was bad planning and a bummer.
First round I ordered a Salted Caramel latte with oatmilk and a Pistachio Rose Danish which were absolutely scrumptious as expected! For my second round I ordered a Chai Latte with pea milk and a Cheese croissant, I ate the cheese croissant first and by the time I had finished the foam from my Chai was completely deflated. I think it's due to the pea milk since I also ate the danish before drinking the Salted caramel latte and the oatmilk foam was still fine after sitting for a bit.
I'm doubting between 3 stars or 4 stars... Mainly because I'd like to give 3 stars for the interior design choices but the foods and drinks are still delicious which makes me want to give a 4th star...

Cons: Interior design compromised comfort. Very noisy. , Interior layout gives off "waiting room" vibes

I’m glad I don’t live in West because I would probably go here every day. I absolutely love Margo’s and it’s great that they opened an extra location. Try the vegan ham and cheese croissant if you love savory foods!
