Read moreL'impasto è veramente pesante (non so quanto ho impiegato per digerirlo), decisamente consigliato solo a quelli a cui piace la sfoglia vegana che ricorda quella non vegana effetto burro superpesante...
Il ripieno con le verdure è buono ma quello alla bolognese molto meno.
Si merita una recensione perchè è molto difficile mangiare street food vegano a Cordoba, quindi li ringrazio.

Vegan bolognese is only option. - Edit
This empanada is really flavourful! Unfortunately the only vegan option currently. They also do ‘heat’ the empanadas up, but not thoroughly, so they’re cold in the middle. Still - very quick and light meal for on the go.

Es gibt nicht viel veganes. Ich hatte den veganen Bolognese Empanada. Nach Bollo hat es nicht wirklich geschmeckt, eher nach Gemüsemix. Der Teig war auch eher wie Blätterteig und nicht wie die klassischen Empanadas. Hat aber lecker geschmeckt. Es gab auch süße Optionen.

El pastel cordobés es realmente delicioso! La empanada de boloñesa es realmente una gran idea pero pienso que debería de ser mas jugosa, se puede comer así como se puede mejorar. Y la de verduras nos faltó probarla.

Read moreThere's three veggie empanadas as per the menu. I had the bolognese empanada and the wok one. I didn't check if the sweet apple empanada was also vegan so I didn't get it.
Both empanadas taste alright, but they had fairly little filling and were mostly dough.

They have different vegan emapnadas which have more of a puff pastry base.

Accept AMEX credit card as one of the VERY FEW places in Spain and Cordoba.
If you need the bathroom keep the receipt and visit the partner restaurant around the corner.
If you need a quick bite and don't expect a healthy meal, there you go.
The location is so convenient right on the other side of the mosque / cathedral entrance.

Only one choice of empanada when I went there: vegan bolognese. Maybe it's my taste buds but didn't taste of anything really.

It is amazing to have an option for a cheap vegan snack right next to such a touristic and crowded place. I had the vegan bolonaise and „wok“ or something similiar and both were really good.

I fancied the vegan bolognese one, but they didn't have that, so I grabbed the one with wok vegetables instead. Good, quick, greasy grab and go snack if you're looking for one.

Grabbed something savory quick from here for lunch. I had the vegan bolognaise empanada which had lentils and quinoa in it - quite average but good to have a quick vegan option in Córdoba.

Yummy Spanish empanadas - Edit
I loved both the wok veggie and the bolognese empanadas. The fluffy mille feuille type of empanada was new to me but it was very delicious and definitely worth trying. I recommend getting the combo options, for one person you get two empanadas and a drink for a little under 7€, a reasonable price for tourists grabbing a quick lunch!

I had the vegan bolognese one, it was mainly puff pastry though and quite greasy, but it was ok altogether for a quick snack on the go. Wouldn’t go back though, as I find it overpriced for what it is.

Bits of chicken in the 'vegan' option - Edit
I was extremely disappointed to find several pieces of chicken in the vegan Bolognese option. As another person has said, there is very little sauce and it is mostly pastry. In addition it's expensive for the small portion. If you're vegan I would avoid this place.
