We were so grateful for this place whilst staying in Baku- as it’s the only place we found to get vegan food we ate here every meal.
Read moreThe only disappointment is that they can be quite unreliable for opening on time; it says 8.30 everywhere and we went for breakfast one day at 9 but they weren’t opening till 10, and another day they weren’t opening till 2pm. Aside from that the food is great, most dishes are generous portions and the prices are really affordable (eg: 6 manat for pancakes/ 8 manat for pasta) The menu needs some work though as there is no description of what anything is/ if it’s suitable for evening meal or a snack, and no where does it specify what is vegan (but don’t worry everything is) Overall I would definitely recommend going.
Pros: Vegan pancakes for breakfast!

Amazing find in the Old Town - Edit
Everything on the menu is vegan and although there no description of what each dish is, the staff were happy to describe everything for us. We ate here everyday during our visit to Baku and loved it! The chocolate cake is amazing and our favorites food wise was the Mac and cheese, club sandwich and avocado toast. The coffee isn't great but the food and deserts are all amazing. Super affordable prices and great location beside muse Cafe right inside the old city walls.

We ate three days in a row at Manipura and it was great! The food is healthy and tasty, my father (meateater!) ordered the Arabian Shiva Bowl every evening and loved it. We also really liked the tomate soup and the Shahi Doner. And I really recommend the chocolate space balls, too. We would definitely come back the next time visiting Baku!:)

This has moved to the old town, and is next to the Muse Cafe. Cozy, nice ambience, lovely decor, and full vegan food. I had a delicious falafel burger there.

Amazing dinner in Old Town - Edit
The Mac n Cheese is something I will dream about. It was so good our two friends who were sharing had a full competition to see who would finish first. The Shiva bowls were equally amazing and really filling.

Fully vegan cafe with a great variety of choices, affordable prices and a nice interior. Located on top floor of the business center, so ask the receptionist how to get there. Good views from the windows, good tables, wonderful owner. I stayed in a hotel nearby and came to eat there every day. Highly recommend!

I visited Baku, a beautiful city with great people. The only vegan restaurant I could find was Manipura, and I loved it!
Read moreThey had lots of options, the food was really tasty, the service was good and freindly, the prices were low- everything I look for in a restaurant :)
We came after lunchtime (around 15:00), so there were very few people and they ran out of avocado (don't worry, there were many other options) - so if you go for lunch, try getting there as early as possible so you will enjoy the atmosphere and the full menu.

It's in a skyscraper - 13th floor. There's a lot of staff around that will show you the way.

I first was afraid that this will be terribly expensive - it is not!
The place was empty, even though it was lunchtime. Friendly staff. Fast service. Aircondition not too cold!
Only place for improvement: The toilet;
Strobo light gives you headaches & toilet paper would be needed at least at one spot...

A hidden gem - Edit
I had a tough time finding this place as it is on the 13th floor of an office building. From the ground floor you go to one of the number pads in front of the elevators and punch “1” “3” and then stand in front of the elevator corresponding to the letter displayed on the screen. Once you get to the 13th floor, go through the door on the far left and follow the signs to Manipura. The fact that i felt the need to provide instructions on finding the place is the only negative. Everything else about Manipura is fantastic and well worth a visit. I’m only here for two nights and I’m happy to have found it on day one as I’ll be back!

Place has beautiful interior and view to the city. There is an elevator music in the background so if you are searching for calmness, this cafe is great. Menu has many varieties. And prices are affordable.
