Excellent

Buffet food with loads of selection! They recommend you pay 50k but you make a donation in a box. Food was really great, good selection of veggies, not many mock meats when we went at lunch time but very delicious!

Amazing PWYC Buffet

Down an alley with a neon sign that says Vegan you find this hidden treasure. Grab a plate and eat all you want. So much variety. It's pretty quiet because everyone is busy eating. Suggested 50,000D donation on your way out.

Pros: All vegan, PWYC, Buffet variety

Amazing food - return many times

Buffet of the most amazing food. When I visited it was lunar new year so for 4 days they do not change and just ask for donations in the donation box. It seems to be a locals place where you squeeze on any table with space. Place was packed - I was the only westerner. I was not sure how to behave but luckily a group of Chinese women adopted me and sat me at their table. They helped me and made sure I tried everything. Amazing place. I wish I could eat here every day.

Pros: Amazing food. Lovely community feel.

Eating with the locals

Had a great time here, eating heavenly good vegan food and share a table with the locals. When I was there with my bf there wasn’t any other tourist, so if you’re looking for a local place, a buffet from which you can choose and try everything then this is your best option in HCMC!

Pros: Great variety of vegan food, Local experience

Cons: None!

All-You-Can-Eat, Pay-What-You-Want!

Firstly, the hours of operation are 11am-2pm then 6pm-9pm every day. Secondly, the food here is really good and really local, which is what I look for when searching for vegan choices in foreign countries (i.e. "when in Rome..."). The quality of the dishes almost makes you wonder how this can be a buffet that you pay what you wish, but this place was heaven to me, and definitely give as much as you can when you get to the tip box by the exit door!

Being a Black vegan, I always stand out and get stared at in Asian countries, but the Vietnamese patrons there were very kind to me and usually offered me a seat, when I was looking for one in this very busy, usually crowded restaurant. One Vietnamese man even sat next to me wanting to just chat in French, hoping I was French African (which I'm not, but luckily did take a few French classes in high school and once lived in Paris for 6 months lol); he also gave me great local tips. Man Tu also sell their own spring roll sauce, which is very tasty, for just 50,000 dong (around $2 USD for 250ml bottle)! Just go and enjoy!

Pros: Buffet-style, eat all you want, pay what you , wish/can. Also sell great local vegan products, at low prices.

Cons: Hard to think of any, so none in my opinion.

Nice little buffet

Really popular place - I think we were lucky to get a seat! There seemed to be quite a few locals.

Help yourself to everything and make a donation. We paid 120000 per person.

We enjoyed about 70% of the dishes. But might be because we are too western to appreciate flavours! There was probably about 30 dishes to choose from. The "duck" wings were amazing!!

Pros: Lots of vegan options , "Duck" wings , Cheap!

Cons: Only ice tea for drinks , Confusing because busy

Amazing

Amazing food perfect Vietnamese style buffet, spring rolls, vermicelli, plenty stir fry dishes, mock meats, seitan, tofu, every traditional Vietnamese dipping sauce. Pay as much as you wish, always give extra tip to help the place stay open!!! Be generous. Small intimate place, not very big.

Pros: Buffet with amazing options including dessert , Open from 6pm

Strange taste

Feeling very much like I’m missing out on Vietnamese cuisine being vegan. Used app to find, and I could hardly eat any of food. Sewer like taste. One hair in food. Orange juice tasted funny. I hope I’m not ill. Sorry but wouldn’t recommend.

Pros: Welcoming

Cons: :( tasted bad.

Lots of food variety, lovely ambience, pay what you want

Had so much of food variety including rice, noodles, variety of salads, tofu, mock meat, beans, potato and mushroom fry, etc.
Lovely Vietnamese music enhances the ambience. There is no fix price, you can pay as much as you wish.
The place is easy to locate as there is a neon signboard on the street corner.

Pros: Lots of variety, tasty food

Cons: none

Must go. Food and atmosphere

A must go in Saigon. You will get much more than delicious vegan and healthy food.
I arrived before the kitchen was open but the lady managing the organisation welcomed me in and invited me to have dinner with the monks presents. She told me as well about the values and charitable activities the restaurant undertakes.

You pay what you want for the food. See it more as a donation for an organisation with great values of compassion and helping society.

I had lemongrass tofu, sushi rolls with sesami, fried mushrooms, mushroom and vegetables salad, a soup, rice and was gifted two deserts. Sticky rice rolls with red beans and banana and something else.
DELICIOUS

Good food, no english

Had the "Combo" which was 100k per person and consisted of approx 10 different small plates. Really liked most of the dishes, good value!

To get to the restaurant you need to walk through a short alley (there is a sign from the main road). The restaurant was simple, and the staff did not speak any english. Although the menu was in english as well so no problem :)

Pros: Cheap, Nice food, Easy to find

Cons: Staff did not speak english

Love here!

The lady owner is amazing! She is very sweet and friendly, even though her English is not so good she is still trying so hard to talk with us.

The mushroom hotpot is my favourite! The food portion size is very big! The food price is inexpensive. The owner gave us two walnut milks for free, and when we tried to have her more tips she insisted to give back to us. Highly recommend there!

Pros: friendly owner , delicious food , inexpensive

Cons: none

Fantastic buffet!

Went here for one of their lunar buffet dinners and was not disappointed! Over 25 dishes, with more coming out as we were leaving. I took my meat-eating husband and even he loved it. Stir fries, salad, soup, noodles, rice, spring rolls, deep-fried oyster mushrooms, lots of little snacks, fruit, bread, iced tea - it was endless. Ate way too much but left very satisfied. Owners were lovely, constantly making sure we were okay and explaining dishes to us. They also have a smaller lunch buffet during the week. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Pros: Huge range of food , Great price, Lovely owners

Quality vegan food

This is a really great little place, lovely vegan food and very friendly staff. I got there and instead of ordering off the menu I was bought a selection of stuff to try, I was very full by the end! It was also so incredibly cheap that I felt like I was stealing. They have recently opened, definitely check it out.

(It's at street level down a little alley that doesn't show on google maps)

Pros: Lovely food, Very friendly, Great value for money
