Nice but not many options - Edit
The chaufa rice was nice, it had mushrooms, carrots, broccoli... The size was pretty big compared to others which was great!
Read moreThere are just a few options to choose from though.

Simple but efficient vegan food - Edit
I had the quinoa wok with a fresh limonade. The wok was good though mushrooms were from a can and it could have benefited from bit more spices. But it is good and simple vegan plate, which is not easy to find in Nazca. Staff is friendly and service was really good.

What a great place! - Edit
Maria Jose really knows how to treat her customers. There are two pages in the menu dedicated to vegan and vegetarian options. The food is very good. Ate here twice, and would do so again.

Tasty, but small and not lots of options - Edit
The food was tasty.
Read moreHowever their veggies are onion, capsicum and egg plant which i struggle with. So i only ate the potatoes with the sauce.
Servings felt small in size.
Service was good.

good vegan fusion option for nazca! - Edit
we had the ratatouille and the fried vegetables which were both really tasty and a good mint lemonade - 5 stars when the food becomes a bit more authentical to the cuisine it is supposed to represent😄

Eher vegetarisch statt vegan - Edit
Leider sind die Gerichte vorwiegend vegetarisch. Man kann fragen, ob man das Gericht ohne Ei oder Kösesauce bekommen kann aber geschmacklich ist es semi. Hab anhand der guten Bewertungen was anderes erwartet, schade.

Overpriced - Edit
Went for lunch and it was about double what most menus of the day cost (S/27). This would be fine if the food was amazing but it was not - we ordered the lasagne, which tasted like it had a full cup of sugar in it, and the cauliflower which was ok. There was a maggot or similar in the corn appetiser as well.

Lovely! - Edit
We had a really lovely dinner here. There is a good vegetarian / vegan menu with a variety of options. I had the Coliflor a la Huancaina. It was a really generous portion that came with pesto fettuccine also.

Delicious - Edit
Love they have designated veggie pages on the menu. We both got the vegan burger and it was pretty good. Not the best I’ve had but definitely better than others. I loved the sesame sauce it came with!! And appreciated how much avocado came with the burger. Friendly service too! Will be back for sure.

Leuke bediening en lekker eten! - Edit
Bediening was super leuk! Losse vega en vegan sectie op de menu kaart. Bediening geeft duidelijk aan wat vegan is. Smaken waren lekker maar simpel. Prima avondje!

Mostly good portions, friendly staff - Edit
The staff was aware of what dish was vegan and not. For example, the pasta is with eggs. And when ordering they defaulted to asking whether you want your dish with eggs or not.
Read moreCan't say from memory which where vegan, but at least the crispy eggplant with potatoes and Peruvian/Chinese rice with veggies are vegan.
Portions are generally quite big. I did order an additional portion of potatoes with crispy eggplant though, since that portion had a lot of eggplant and few potatoes. It tasted very nice though.
Pros: Staff knows what's vegan, Eggplant and potatoes tasted nice

Best Option in Nazca?! - Edit
Mamashana is located between the plaza and bus station and has a cute, elegant adobe atmosphere—maybe one of the more “upscale” places in town.
Read moreThere’s a whole vegetarian section to the menu with reasonable prices for generally very generous portions of high quality food. They have vegan protein (quinoa) dishes unlike other places in town, and they are delicious.
Loved the rice and quinoa chaufas. One of the best meals I’ve had in two weeks in Peru. One staff went above and beyond service. Nice escape from the hustle of town.

This is the only place I’ve found in Nazca with vegan protein. It was beautiful and delicious and the restaurant was just down right charming. The waiter also spoke English which was helpful

Had a great vegan pasta and beer here. I wasn't expecting the portion size to be as large as it was, so that was a nice little surprise. Decent place for a few vegan options in Nazca.

Pancakes and cauliflower - Edit
I had the (vegetarian) pancakes with chocolate. It's just one pancake, so maybe don't take this if you're super hungry, but for me it was the perfect breakfast after arriving in Nazca by nightbus and crashing in the hostel 'till noon.
Read moreI went here again the next day. While their desserts are good, their main course lacked in taste. The cauliflower dish was very bland, without any seasoning. Ask for salt, pepper and ketchup.

many vegan options, satisfying meals - Edit
They have one whole page dedicated to "vegetariano and vegano". Staff is also knowledgeable about veganism and will help you. I had the fried cauliflower with potatoes and avocado, a very dense and filling meal. Although for my taste they could have added some fresher stuff also like a salad. My boyfriend had the avocado sandwich, which he loved and later the fettuccine pasta, a peruvian-asian dish, very yummy! The ambiente is cosy and they have wifi and air-con. :)

Lovely food, big portions, nice café. - Edit
A steady flow of people into this café; outside seating very popular. Be alert for the chicken and tuna on the veg./vegan menu. Nice selection of food and the dishes that I had were very good. Very comfortable to be here alone. Only fruit salad as pudding option for vegans. Lots of coffee and infusión options. Lovely, quietly-friendly and attentive waitress.

Good vegeterian food - Edit
Loved the food!
Read moreAte here twice. First I had the crunchy coliflower dish. The next day the chickpea burger. I don't know if it is vegan though. Since I'm vegetarian I dindt ask for specifics.
The restaurant is open! But they changed the name to Mamashana. The former Mamashana restaurant (on the same street) is closed.
I added pictures of the new menu to the gallery.
