Great Kerala food - Edit
Really nice restaurant with a huge menu, lots of vegan options to choose from. All vegan & veggie options are clearly marked on the menu. I had the tomato aubergine curry and the lentil doughnuts which were tasty. Portion sizes were filling. Great Kerala food

Vegan Thali - Edit
Had the Vegan Thali as it represented most of the vegan menu in miniature (except for the beefy-soy-chunk one we missed out on).
Read moreThe starter soup was great, lots of tamarind and spice. For the Thali itself, the standout dishes were the sambal, aubergine, a and mushrooms...the coconut pancake bread was also lovely.
...and yes, they did swap out the sweet with bill at the end as promised (from another review)

This was one of the best vegan meals I’ve had in ages. Lots of choice . Rice doughnuts with lentil Dahl was amazing as a starter and my main a potato and mushroom dish with rice with pancakes also great. In relation to a previous post they offered me a vegan sweet with the bill. If you are in the area you should try this place.

Good Vegan Choices - Edit
It’s a nice spacious restaurant, we didn’t book but as it was early in the evening they found us a table. There’s some good choices on the menu for vegans and they are all clearly marked. We only had a main course but there are vegan starters and even a vegan desert. The food we had was very nice and we would certainly visit there again on our next trip to Eastbourne. One word of warning though, look out for the milk chocolates that come with the bill. Our waiter apologised and said that they would look into getting vegan chocolates in the future.

This was an excellent choice. The menu is clearly marked with vegan options and there is a significant choice. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable and knew exactly what is in the food. The waiter took our order without writing anything down and remembered it all.
