Savory Middle Eastern bakery that began by selling at farmers’ markets. Offer sourdough focaccia with toppings, sourdough pita, and tubs/jars of garlic hummus and ajvar (roasted pepper & eggplant spread). Also has savory pastries - vegans please inquire. Open Wed-Fri 8:30am-3:30pm, Sat 8:30am-2:30pm. Closed Sun-Tue.

Delicious savory options

I used to buy from them when they were only selling at farmers’ markets and was happy to discover they had recently opened a brick and mortar shop near Porter Square. Their homemade ajvar (roasted pepper & eggplant spread) is especially delicious and not very easy to find commercially in the Boston area, although I’m admittedly biased as ajvar is one of my favorite spreads.

Pros: All-savory bakery , Very friendly and helpful staff
