Nice atmosphere, mediocre food - Edit
LUUMA has a nice, trendy vibe. It feels like a nice lounge but it is outdoors, has a sand floor and there are palm trees growing in the middle of the restaurant. There are several vegan options, but all of them are quiet bland. The only thing that was worth ordering again was the vegan tacos, and then only after we had them bring us some hot sauce.

Not many vegan options - Edit
The entire menu is tapas and there are only 2 or 3 items that are full vegan. The atmosphere is a vibe - if that’s what your looking for - loud music, busy. Two of the three dishes we had were very good. One was okay.

Hay poco pero lo que hay está riquísimo, no dudes en probar los tacos veganos. Quizás el único lugar donde encontraras soja texturizada así que aprovecha!p

Amazing atmosphere for dinner and cocktails - Edit
We arrived at Luuma by chance and stayed because of the atmosphere and some vegan options. We had the falafel and the pakoras, it was good. There is a vegetable tabla so you can add some of the dishes there as an extra dish. The waitress gave us many veganizable options and the attention was very good. I think is better for cocktails, so we will be back for that!

Atmosphere and setting are super cool - Edit
You will be eating in a beautiful palm tree garden with nice music. There is 1 fully vegan taco which is soy based. Two other vegetarian dished can be easily made vegan if you ask for no sour cream. They instead gave me a Basel based sause which was delicious. Overall happy with this place.

This is a swanky tapas bar in a pretty courtyard beneath the palms, with dance beats playing and a distinctly ‘Tulum’ feel to it. If you want a special evening this is worth a visit, although they don’t take bookings so you have to put your name on the door and wait. There are 3 vegan options (2 are actually veggie but can be veganised) - a vegan soya taco, a chickpea pakora and a bean falafel. They were ok, but my favourite was the taco as the pakora and falafel were deep fried and tasted like the may have been in the same fat as other things... There is a posh boutique selling very expensive clothes attached to the restaurant.

Trendy restaurant with vegan options - Edit
Beautiful laid back setting, on the more expensive side but there are a few vegan options and the cocktails are great. Vegan options are two tapas plates (one falafel that can be made vegan without the dipping sauce, vegan tacos in fresh lettuce shell and a large 2 person sharing platter). There were also additional vegetarian dishes. All were really tasty and well worth the money.
