Simple but ok - Edit

The Lucky Cow has good intentions and makes salads like beetroot salad, garden and i THINK potato? As well as hash browns, deep fried cheese, deep fried mushrooms, veggie patties etc... But to me it's highly priced and doesn't have the passion of vegetarian food. There's a lot of deep-fried and processed foods. But at the markets, it's one of the few other choices than hot chips and gravy

Pros: Vegan options, Mix n match options, Some decent salads

Cons: Expensive, Processed, Deep-fried

Lucky Cow at Mindil - Edit

Been here a couple of times while at the market. There is actually a lot of vego food at the dozens of other stalls but a fair bit of that is greasy noodles or deep-fried stuff. This is the only vego only stall. Its a little pricey for market food (it is Mindil), and a lot of it is certainly not vegan-friendly (they're big on cheese and mayo unfortunately), but pretty tasty stuff for the ovo-lactos. Overall pretty good by Darwin standards but personally I prefer the many exciting ethnic cuisines on offer to fried cheese and spinach balls and beetroot salad in a wrap. Thats totally a personal preference though, its good food if you're into that kind of thing.

Pros: Cheap dinner, Consistent, Tasty

Cons: Not cheap by market standards, Bit boring, Not much for vegans
