Part of international chain of vegan restaurants inspired by Supreme Master Ching Hai, an advocate for veganism. Each location is individually operated - this one opened March 2021. The menu offers a mix of western and Asian style casual fare including sandwiches, fried appetizers, rice paper rolls, mock meats in the form of satay and drumsticks, rice meal with wok stir-fries. Open Mon 4:00pm-9:00pm, Tue-Sat 11:00am-9:00pm, Sun 4:00pm-9:00pm.

Phenomenal food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Edit
Loving Huts truly never disappoint but this specific location had some of the best food we've ever had. We ordered several dishes to share family style so we got to enjoy quite a bit of goodness. I will say the service was pretty challenging but if you can handle the inattentiveness and slowness the food is definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

Wide variety of dishes, free wifi, convenient location. The food was good, but nothing so special. I liked the “chicken” in peanut sauce (but I expected more sauce). Expensive, like everything in Iceland (so basic local price). I also liked that they gave us water for free.

Our favorite spot in Reykjavik! We went many times over the 6 months we spent in Iceland last year and brought different friends and family, who all loved it. Lots of great food on the menu and cozy vibe. Staff is super friendly.

We liked the nice varied menu - especially the rich and hearty soup options, served in stone bowls. We split a bahn mi as an appetizer, and finished off with an apple tart with ice cream, leaving extremely full and happy!

I've not been to one of these restaurants before, but luckily not much sign of a religious connection. The menu was large and we opted for a Thai salad, mapo tofu and good old burger and chips.

The starter was about as large as a main and similarly priced.
I noticed that the soups also cost the same as mains that included rice etc.

I would say having tried both loving huts in reykjavik that this one was a bit pricier but also a bit tastier. Really nice asian dishes and soups.

Loved the vegan fish dish since fish is such a big part of Icelandic culture. They were very kind: my 2.5 year old had asked for an apple and they were kind to chop it up and offer it for free. Keep up the great work!

My non-vegan partner said this was "the best vegan food [he] ever had." We were there for the Saturday buffet, and it was a mind-blowing selection of vegan food, including all kinds of meat alternatives and also delicious cake for dessert. 1000 % recommended! Also great value for money.
