Great atmosphere & taste - Edit
Loved the location - it's inside a courtyard & their name is not on the entrance but theya re the first restaurant on the right. Great service as our server was attentive but did not hover over us or rush us through the meal. I had a vegan pisco sour & it was very good & was shaken, not run through the blender ( a big no-no for Peruvian pisco sours). The stuffed ricotto pepper came with a potato "pie" that was very good & the pepper was not overly spicy. The anticuchos were grilled to perfection. The spring rolls were a variation with a Peruvian twist & the sauces with them were also excellent. It is on th ehigher price point for Peru when you compare it to ones with set menus but the amount & quality of food was very high. We'll be checking out their other location in Yunahuara while here.

I’ve been impressed with everything I’ve tasted so far! The food is so good I’m always excited to go back, it really never disappoints. My favorite so far is anticuchos. The cocktails are also tasty and they have a nice presentation. Totally recommended

This establishment is not ready to be opened. They are short staffed and not trained in customer service.

The Experience

Though the restaurant wasn’t busy, we waited over 15 minutes to order as the staff chatted with others or were totally absent.
When we placed our orders, our first five choices were not available.
We placed our order and waited and waited... An entire family that arrived after us was served their food and left before we received our food an hour after arriving and choosing our food!
The food that arrived was not even what we ordered from the menu and the fries were cold—40 minutes for a cold marinated seitan patty and basket of fries (with only 3 other people in the restaurant)!
The server never checked in to address the wait time, and snickered the two times we inquired about the food. When we addressed the problem in English and Español, the manager(?) did not apologize or offer to make-up for the issue, only saying that they were short staffed.
We walked out because we exhausted our patience and faith in the service and ate at a vegetarian restaurant across the street.

Conocí Lounge del Brujo en su otra sede, y fueron super importantes en mi proceso de ser vegana. Amo su comida, su sabor es increíble y hasta adictivo. Rompen todas las creencias de que la comida vegana es fea o algo así, incluso para los más carnívoros. Llevo a mis amigos ahí siempre además que hacen conciertos de música en vivo o eventos como lecturas de Tarot. Amo Lounge del Brujo

Delicious food and excellent service - a spectacle - Edit
We went to this place for dinner. Although our Spanish is very minimal and the waitress spoke little English, she was just so welcoming and worked with us to ensure we understood each other well!
Read moreThe food was presented really well and was incredibly tasty - we ordered the lomo Saltado with pasta. The only thing was there was a little bit too much seitan for our liking.
Dessert was fabulous and we also enjoyed watching the table next to us receive their magical and mystical cocktails.

Little vegan gem in Arequipa - Edit
This little place is located not far from the historic centre.
Read moreThey have a fully vegan menu and much to choose from. And even more they also have typical Peruvian dishes but made vegan!
You can sit outside in the patio which is also very nice.
Staff is very friendly, even though they might not speak a lot of English but their service is impeccable.
Prices are a bit highly for Peruvian standards but very much worth it in my opinion.

Scrumptious seitan Buffalo wings! The chicken burger was also quite nice. Great sauces. The Oreo cake was wonderful. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the seitan in the Lomo Saltado - still good, but not as full of taste as in the other plates - and the fact that both days I went they had almost run out of desserts 😭.

Loads and loads of very tasty vegan options. The vegan pisco sour was also amazingly good. We came back here a second time because we liked it so much. Slightly more on the expensive side, around 28-34 soles for a main dish but I’d say it’s definitely worth it. Really nice to try some of the local dishes from Arequipa made vegan too.

We came here in the evening and had the Anticuchos dish and the Hot chicken sandwich.
Read moreBoth were absolutely amazing! The corn in the Anticuchos dish was seasoned to perfection and the whole dish was so good! The sandwich was also really good with a great sauce and very cool texture.
For dessert we had a chocolate oreo cake which was also good.
I came back for breakfast and had the blueberry waffles (as they recommended) but I found it a bit stale and did not enjoy it so much.
Pros: Amazing vegan food, Great seasoning and flavor , Very good service
Cons: Waffles were not fresh, A bit expensive in comparison to the area

Read moreIf you come take for sure you would try the real peruvian food like anywere else. the 90% of the people that comes are non vegan but likes the food, the drinks or all the place; even for non vegans this is a MUST if you visit Perú.
