Awesome Vegan-Stylee Mexican Food! - Edit
We popped into this place durning a short trip to AC from Baltimore. It was quite refreshing to be able to sit down at an authentic Mexican restaurant and have a nice full meal, all 100% vegan. From the chips & salsa to the potato chorizo flautas and the seitan taquitos (with macadamia nut “goat cheese” — W.H.A.T!?) everything was excellent. We will definitely make a point to visit Los Amigos again during our next visit to AC.

So glad we found this little restaurant on our trip to Atlantic City. They offer a vegan menu and the items we tried were delicious. We had the potato/chorizo, Albondigas (quinoa & cauliflower meatballs), chips and salsa/guacamole, black bean soup, Drunken Mushroom tacos, Sweet potato burrito, and Baja Vegan Tacos. Everything was delicious and we went back the next day. Service was very good and nice ambiance.

Went here for my birthday dinner and it was so good! Our server was the creator of the vegan menu and was so incredibly knowledgeable. The food was flavorful and delicious, with unique flavor combination. Definitely a must anytime I’m in AC!

Busy place but built for speed really cute, great drinks, but best of all, a vegan menu with eight dedicated selections, we had the vegan meatballs and the vegan sausage cigars, vegan burrito and vegan mushroom tacos. We loved every bite. It was a little busy and the kitchen a little slow, but it was Saturday night, and it was worth the slight delay. You will love this place!

A pleasant surprise for Atlantic City, NJ - Edit
So while on a brief vacation in Atlantic City, a place I visited often as a child, living in nearby Philadelphia, I checked with Happy Cow for a place to eat. Was I delightfully surprised to find Los Amigos, a small Mexican restaurant, close by many of the casinos. They had several different vegan options, and about 3 or 4 vegan appetizers.

Incredible vegan food. Perfect place to eat for mixed vegan families/couples as they have a non vegan menu as well, and it appears as a regular old Mexican place (far from it!) Tell your server your vegan, almost every time I’ve been the chef is thrilled and will have something off the menu to try! Amazing improvements since first opening, huge vegan menu now with tons of options and all so so delicious. Not to mention the free chips and salsa and drinks and also awesome! Comes off as a hole in the wall Atlantic City restaurant but I promise it’s worth the visit.

It’s a great place and a must-visit for anyone passing through AC.

Tip- go after 4 because that's when their other chef comes in and can cook off a bigger vegan menu! It is limited other wise. They helped us out and let us order from the bigger menu earlier, which was awesome!!

Have been here several times, they have many vegan options clearly listed on the menu, and even a vegan section to choose from, as well as vegan specials AND desert.
Read moreI was there on a quiet night once and the owner/chef came out, I believe he said that his wife is vegan, and excitedly told me about his efforts to have great vegan fare.
Highly recommend, this is the best "vegan friendly" option I've seen in Atlantic City so far.

I’m not sure how many times I can use the word great. Great service. Our waiter Joseph did a great job explaining the vegan options and pointing out that the owners son is a vegan chef which put our minds at ease. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The atmosphere was great. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was literally perfect. Highly recommend to anyone.

I stopped by this spot after finding on here and was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was super friendly. The horchata tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk without dairy. The chips and salsa was fresh. My waiter was also super nice.

I loved everything about this place! There were many vegan options so it was hard to choose. I went with the vegan meatballs as an appetizer and the vegan paella as my meal. Both were delicious! I ordered the vegan bread pudding to-go and enjoyed that later. JP our server was awesome. He explained the menu well and was friendly and attentive. Already planning to go back this trip!

Excellent Vegan Options - Edit
This place has a whole vegan menu with a bunch of different options, way more than you would see at any other non-vegan restaurant. We had the vegan wings which were delicious and the special vegan bahn mi burrito which was extremely tasty. We’re so happy that we decided to try this place out, so much so that we’re returning for lunch today!

I went to Los Amigos not knowing if they had any vegan options, fully prepared to have rice and beans. I was blown away by the selections that they had. I ordered the vegan tacos and was amazed, I almost ordered seconds. Cant wait to go back and get them again.

My mom and I went here and got the stuffed mushroom as a starter which was sweet and spicy, very very good. Then we both shared the sweet potato burrito and the Baja tacos. Both were beyond delicious but the Baja tacos make me want to keep coming back. Even salsa and chips were great
