Honestly, this place doesn't have the best vibe. We went in late November and it was so cold with all of the glass windows, not sure if the heat was on. Tables were dirty/greasy and we had to clean them ourselves. Staff wasn't the friendliest and seemed bothered/annoyed answering our questions and taking our order.

I had been craving a chicken caesar wrap for the past 10 years, and finally found a vegan version. Highly recommend it if you like that sort of thing.
My boyfriend loved the double chicken chicken stacker sandwich. I thought the chicken was too seitan-y but it was still good.
Great location in the middle of all the outlet stores.

We both had the breakfast burrito and coffee. Food was flavorful, hot, fresh, and clearly prepared with love. If you are vegan this is a must go to if you are visiting AC. Located in the middle of the main shopping area so super convenient location. They have signs saying they are not fast food so be aware that you gotta wait a little while but the wait was not terrible, definitely worth it to have great food, especially worth it for 100% vegan food for the animals! So just go, chill, and enjoy!

While staying in Atlantic City for a few days, I found it surprisingly tricky to dine out vegan. It was a treat to find Vegans Are Us. Easily walkable from the boardwalk in about 15 mins and located in the shopping district. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and has a few tables inside, and has counter service. Be aware that the restaurant does not allow customers to use the bathroom at all.

We had some lunch here. We shared a Ceasar salad and a Philly V-steak. They were both very delicious and I have zero complaints about the food. The menu had a lot to offer, and it would be lovely to come back and try more items.

Most stuff was way too fried and greasy. I really wanted to like this place but when there's no fresh drinks (no coffee, lemonade, nothing) and everything is served on/with plastic, it's very disappointing. Produce like the blueberries on the waffles didn't seem very fresh either.

WOW!!!! The drumettes are amazing. If you have never been here ask what is the hottest item sold. I walked out ate the lemon pepper drumette and walked back in. The chef said what’s wrong, my reply…that was delicious!!

we got the chicken cheesesteak, spicy crispy sandwich, & small side of cashew mac. i think we got the vegetable mac instead because it was super sweet as if it was made with sweet potatoes. the spicy chicken sandwich wasn’t spicy at all, i’m thinking maybe a mix up with that too. the portion sizes were good, the food was still good, and the fries were amazing. it does suck that there’s no bathroom for customers.

I hate not putting a five star rating on an all vegan restaurant, but I think they could do so much better. Maybe there are too many things on the menu, and it would be better to focus on doing just a few things very well. The fried “fish” sandwich was obviously just Gardein “fish” fillets.  The Ruben was OK.  Everything was really just OK.  I hope they keep working to get their quality to where it could be.

Vegans are us has some great vegan breakfast options! We enjoyed the Sunday brunch McGriddle, the breakfast burrito, and the bacon egg and cheese bagel. Their hot sauce was also amazing. Would definitely recommend for a hearty breakfast in AC.

We were warned from the start about the potentially long wait on a busy morning, and ended up waiting an hour to get our food, but everything was absolutely delicious. The location being in an outlet strip mall is a little odd, with no bathrooms for customers. The real bummer was that the actual prices charged were 22% higher than those written on the menu, which was online only so there is no logical reason for this! We had to rely on the nearby H&M for wifi. I can’t stress enough how good the food was though.

We grabbed a table outside for a weekday breakfast at Vegans Are Us and a little takeout coleslaw because it’s the best. Had a breakfast burrito and waffles and chick’n. Also the home fries. Everything was delish!

Lots of selection, and all vegan! I tried the Philly V-Steak and it was so tasty. It’s a bit pricey - prices seem to have gone up from the online menu, and it is not fast food. I was in AC for a convention and this restaurant is very convenient located in walking distance to the convention center, the Sheraton, and the outlet shops. Highly recommend.

My family of four enjoyed brunch here recently. I very rarely give out five stars, but the whole family loved each entree. We got two orders of the chicken and waffles, French toast, a cheese omelet and a side of collard greens. It was a hearty treat made with love!

It not only amazes me how many places don’t have any vegan options (in Atlantic City) but how ignorant people are to what plant based means. (I was offered a lettuce, tomato, onion AND SAUSAGE sandwich!) VEGANS ARE US truly saved me from starving. The food was delicious, staff was friendly and the restaurant was open.
