love the churros.

Churros are absolutely amazing - freshly baked and sweet with three vegan options for dips. Some delicious vegan ice cream too - there were six different flavours available when I visited last and they clearly use separate scoops for vegan ice cream which was a delight to see.

Delicious desserts!

Went a few weeks ago and got the vegan biscoff ice cream and the churros with biscoff dip - ice cream is kept in a separate counter and the staff were really knowledgable - would recommend! Can be very busy at times though

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Delicious churros

We loved the Biscoff-filled churros. Would've like to see a jam-filled option too as the biscoff and peanut butter is quite heavy. We also had a Loop & Scoop with Turkish delight and coconut ice cream. The ice cream tasted strange to me: candy-like 'fake' sweetness, but the churros were excellent.

Pros: A good amount of vegan options

Cons: The ice cream

Dream ice cream

While the ordering system doesn't make a whole load of sense if you are sitting in, the vegan ice cream more than makes up for it. Their chocolate is hands down my favourite ice cream I've ever had and I will be back time and again to eat it!

Delicious desserts

Usually I've been ok getting a table here, though when I was in recently in a group we had to take a table which still needed cleared and cleaned. I wasn't that bothered as we weren't going to be staying long.

They have a separate fridge now with the vegan options, and there 6 flavours to choose from. I was told the cones are also vegan. I tried Turkish delight ice cream for the first time, and I loved it. I also got churro bites topped with Biscoff, but you can also have the Biscoff (or chocolate sauce or peanut butter sauce) as a dip, or have churros filled with it.

They have a self-serve water counter, and take cards. You're best to get a table first and then place your order at the counter and give your table number and they'll bring drinks and churros to you (and your ice cream will be given to you at time of payment).

Pros: Varied vegan options, Different ways of eating churros

Cons: Sometimes difficult to get a big table for grou

Delicious flavours

The churros are amazing and the ice cream is so good, they’ve recently expanded their vegan flavours but a few have been out of stock when we’ve been, in desperate to try the biscoff! Sitting in isn’t always a nice experience as the tables are often dirty and staff were not very pleasant last time.

Massive portions - great to share

Even though Glasgow must be one of the world's prime destinations for sweet and unhealthy food, there are not many places which offer vegan churros or gelato, so Loop & Scoop is your destination if you want this. The vegan stuff tastes great, but the portions are insane - make sure to share or to order some of the smallest items they have on the menu.

Pros: Great dessert, One of the few vegan ice cream places in Glasgow

Cons: eating a serve on your own ends in sugar-shock

Clearly marked options

Clear vegan stuff. No price difference! Amazing!
I got a loop and scoop which was a bit more expensive at 6.50 but it was absolutely MASSIVE. I needed instructions on how to eat the thing! The icecream was sooo nice but the churro was a bit too crunchy for me, if that makes sense. I thought it would be kinda soft

Get in ma belly!

I recently had to travel south the 192 miles to Glasgow for work and on the second morning, I passed this place. It was closed, but I returned later and I am SO glad I did!

I had their namesake dish, the Loop and Scoop, with fantastic vegan ice cream. Oh ma heid, it was truly GET IN MA BELLY time and I devoured the super tasty churros and ice cream combo with aplomb. There were a few vegan options to choose from so I was quite happy.

Unfortunately I never had time to visit the place again, but I now know that every time I'm withint 20 miles of Glasgow I'm going to have to get myself to this place.

Pros: Extremely tasty vegan sweet options, Funky wee venue, Fast service

Cons: Glasgow is 192 miles from my house!, Its sooo far away.... like a galaxy in pop culture, I might have to move to Glasgow now.

Even more vegan-friendly than before

This place has changed drastically and become even more veg-accesible since I started going here within the past 3 months. Their menu is clearly marked for vegan options, and almost every menu item has a vegan choice. The only downside is if you are ordering gelato, they keep the vegan flavors in the back and you have to ask first for what they have. As of the last time I was here they have strawberry and mint choc chip dairy-free gelato, as well as a sorbet flavor they keep in the front. Always make sure to check before ordering though, because sometimes they've run out. Hopefully they will expand to even more flavors soon, and/or start keeping them up front with the rest!

Pros: Delicious churros and ice cream, Good price for amount of food

Cons: Limited supply- sometimes run out, Could have more vegan flavors

Great (but hidden) vegan options

After spotting on social media that their churros are accidentally vegan, I persuaded some friends to visit Loop & Scoop with me.
Initially, I was quite disappointed when I couldn't find any indication of vegan options on their menu, but after consulting a very enthusiastic member of staff, I couldn't complain about not being catered to. They offer peanut butter, biscoff spread, and a dark chocolate sauce as dips, and there seem to be several flavours of vegan ice cream available as well. Additionally, they were willing to veganise their filled churros and the famous "Loop and Scoop" if desired.
We opted for the simple option of churros with biscoff dip, and it was very delicious. Bottom line: Would definitely recommend for American diner vibes and tasty churro fun!

go off menu

The churros here are made with an egg and dairy free recipe which means they are vegetarian and vegan friendly. On the menus all the dips are veggie friendly, the peanut one is also vegan friendly and if you ask the is a vegan biscoff dip too which is particularly delicious. A must try!
