Disappointing for gluten free options - Edit
The restaurant was beautiful and the food was good, but I was so disappointed to only have 4 gluten free options for brunch, and none of them hot. Two of the options were salads and one was granola with fruit. I really wish they had more options for a hot gluten free meal. I had the California Sunshine Bowl which was fine but mostly rice and beans. It wasn’t very flavorful and was disappointing for the price: $24 for basically a rice and beans bowl with chickpea and carrot garnish. I wouldn’t go back for brunch, and their dinner menu only offered the rice and bean bowl as a gluten free option.

Fabulous Plant-Based Restaurant in Healdsburg CA - Edit
Little Saint restaurant in Healdsburg CA is at the top of the list of plant-based restaurants anywhere in the U.S.
Read moreFar exceeded expectations on our recent visit! General Manager Natalia and Beverage Manager Daniel are amazing. Their knowledge of food and beverage is impressive and their level of customer service is unmatched.
We had a merlot and an old fashion, the cheese plate with cashew cheese from nova terra, trumpet mushroom pozole, pumpkin and fennel sausage lasagna and opera cake - all exceptional. And we grabbed some Rebel Cheese to take on our travels from their convenient to go case.
The ambiance is fabulous but at the end of the day what makes a restaurant, and any business, are the people, and for that the Little Saint team are five star. Must visit restaurant in Healdsburg CA!
Pros: Ambiance, Quality of food, Customer service

It was such a treat to celebrate my partner’s birthday here! We shared the dip and veggie trio, the kale Caesar salad, and the mushroom main. Everything was delicious and the food was truly abundant. They really made the birthday special with a complimentary dessert wine!

Amazing food - Edit
The place was great. Lots of space for lots of people to be served. I ordered the tomato sandwich and it was AMAZING. I wish I had ordered one to go. To drink I ordered the lavender mint tea which was delicious. Customer service was good but it was not extraordinary. We waited a lot for them to come check on us. But over all the experience was good.

Sunday Brunch so good - Edit
First time visit-Brunch on a Sunday. I loved the service and the menu and the 2 dishes: the breakfast sandwich, and the waffles w mushrooms. The cornmeal crusted lions mane was hot and crispy and spicey so good! And the dill cream in between the waffles with syrup I can’t stop thinking about it. The sandwich has some greens and this yummy red pepper spread like a Romania or Balkan spread which makes it POP. I had a cappuccino and they serve it in original ceramic cup and saucer along with a foam heart!

Great fine dining! The white bean was tasty. The dumplings were under seasoned. I really liked the lasagna but the Korean lions mane mushrooms were my favorite.

Great food with horrible service - Edit
I was excited and enthusiastic to try Little Saint as this is one of few farm to table fully vegan restaurants in the Northern California. Needless to say, I was vastly impressed with most of the dishes but also vastly disappointed with the the service I received.
Read moreThe good: All of the dishes we ordered were excellent hence the pozole which lacked the smoky spice in the broth that traditional pozole usually has. Also adding avocado to pozole is questionable??
The asparagus dish, beet salad, and lion's mane plate were all excellent and extremely flavorful as were both desserts that we ordered.
The poor: The service. All evening we felt neglected by our server who only checked on us to take our order and give us the check. When our drink orders were ready, he gave them to an adjacent table & allowed them to put it near the lips. Instead of re-making our drinks, they still served it to us nevertheless. The server and mixologist apologized to the table for the mixup but did not even make eye contact with us when our drinks were served.
The server was also very conversational with the tables adjacent to us about each dish they were served and the origin of the produce but when it came to us, it was just plate on the table and a simple "enjoy".
Despite spending nearly $300 with tip we were met with a lot of unwarranted passiveness and neglect. I wish my experience were slightly more respectful & positive as I would love to go to Little Saint again but given the service this night which I believe was due to my ethnicity (not a lot of POC people dining here), I doubt I will be back.

We were in town for three days. We went five times. Coffee game is on point. Pastries are insanely good. The food is creative and delicious. The staff is phenomenal.

So good, my omni brother was impressed - Edit
Absolutely fantastic place - came here with my parents and brother, none of whom are vegan, and they all loved what they ordered.
Read moreWe had the Breakfast Sandwich, Bean Burger, Pozole and Nashville waffle. All were delicious, but particular shout out to the fried mushrooms which came with the waffles - my brother (who again is not vegan) said it may have been the best fried anything he's ever had.
They also had some really good wines from their house wine shop. And we finished off with some phenomenal desserts; Opera Cake, Chocolate & Cherry Tart, a Chocolate & Peanut Butter Ice Cream, and an Apricot Ice Cream. Chocolate & Cherry Tart was particularly good.
They have some great outdoor tables under dappled shade, next to a fairly quiet street (on a Tuesday at least).
Prices weren't cheap, but for us it was well worth it - would highly recommend for any vegans in Healsburg (especially if you're with omnis willing to have some vegan food)
Pros: Great range of options, Friendly wait staff

Neighbor night menu tasting - Edit
Farm fresh, in season ingredients combined into a 4 dish meal service. $55 a person and if you do a wine pairing it is $35 extra. The dishes were small but sensational. The flavor combos were exciting and I tried dishes I normally would not consider ordering. For instance- never had panna cotta before and I enjoyed all the dishes. The carrot tartine was beyond. Truly one of my favorite vegan places to enjoy a well made meal.

Stellar - Edit
I went with an omni friend for brunch on a Sunday in August, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. They had so many appealing dessert options, and all the brunch items we ordered were winners. Don't skip the Nashville waffle. The service was also fantastic. Note that their wine selection is not 100% vegan, but they did give us a couple of recommendations for vegan wineries where we could do tastings. I want to come back for happy hour someday.

Wine Country Fine Dining Experience - Edit
Farm fresh food in a beautiful setting, and they have a sommelier on staff.
Read moreWine is very good and pairs very well with their food. They offer a discount when you buy a bottle to go, and I ended up buying two in my first visit and another one later that day.
Their pastries are to die for, and their food is very flavorful. They have their own farm and it shows in the fresh ingredients featured in dishes.
If they perfect some of their dishes I think they could achieve Michelin, especially with the excellent wine selection.

All vegan. Seasonal and farm to table offerings. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, cocktails or whatever else. They do it all and they do it so well! They have a grab and go section and an amazing selection of wine. Go for neighbors night (mondays) to get a great price on a four course meal.

Went there for dinner and ordered:

Gochuchang lions mane

And some other cocktails I can’t recall the names of but everything was so tasty. We especially loved the beet dip and the lions mane, and I personally could’ve eaten their shepherd’s pie for the rest of my life and not be bored of it. Staff were very attentive and engaged us in lively banter. We live three hours away, but I’d make that drive any day!

We'll be back! - Edit
We went a Saturday for brunch with a mixed group of vegans and omnivores. As many others have said, interior is filled with light and art. We had the carrot dip with bread, cup of the daily soup which was a potato and leek, and then for entries the garbanzo bean sandwich, and the tofu scramble tacos. My partner and I had cappuccinos with oatmilk, and our dining companions had various mocktails. Everything was amazing and service was attentive and friendly.

Good to very good - Edit
I wish I could give it a 4.5. I love that it's entirely plant-based, and the vibe inside is really nice. We ate here twice in ten days. It's expensive - I live in Norway and it was pretty much exactly the same as what I'd pay while eating out in Norway... which is why most people here only eat out once, maybe twice, a month.
Read moreOver the week we tried the:
1. Carrot Dip (twice!) - Everyone, including the omnis in the group, loved it. The bread was solid and the dipping veggies were great.
2. The breakfast tacos - Not great. The flavor that was there was good, but it was a bit bland and dry.
3. Cucumber salad - Good, nothing special.
4. Grilled cheese - a small portion and the cheese is... very vegan. If you like vegan cheeze substitutes you'll probably enjoy this, I'm a bit pickier than my husband when it comes to those and I wouldn't get this again. And I eat grilled cheezes multple times a week at home lol.
5. Fried mushroom & waffles - honestly this was great. It wasn't too greasy and the waffles weren't too sweet, it's the kind of dish you don't really make at home so I'd def recommend this.
6. Opera cake - tasted old and like some of the layers had freezer burn.
7. Crepes - really delicious. I would also get these again, and liked that they weren't too sweet.
Edit: My omni parents actually ended up returning here after we had lunch because they liked the lentil soup, bread, and carrot dip so much.

Little Saint, little disappointed - Edit
I had really high expectations for my first visit here. First off, it's beautifully decorated and designed inside. I went for lunch (brunch menu) ordered the breakfast tacos which were great and flavorful. I wanted the mushroom entree and asked what kind of mushrooms were used. The server didn't know surprisingly and went to the kitchen only to report it was not available, much to my dismay. I also had carrot dip with fresh vegetables and the dip was good and the veggies were a wide variety and delicious. Portions could be a little larger considering the price. Service was decent but not quite what I expected. I miss the days of the experience where your server would guide you through the menu leaving you wowed and excited. This felt more like a grab and go cafe with someone just taking your order. I'm not sure if I'll go back as it's really far for me and I was not blown away with my choices or the cost. I don't mind traveling for food or paying for high quality but this came up a bit short for me. Maybe dinner is better, maybe I went on an off day. I kind of felt like Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman" when she walked in Versace. I initially was going to give it 3 stars but the vegetables were really fresh and crisp, so 4 stars it is.

Overpriced - Edit
Don’t get me wrong I love walking into a strictly plant based restaurant and will I still go and support them….absolutely. But I ate a $22 breakfast burrito that I would consider pretty average. My mom had the Caesar Salad- it was good. I noticed the fried mushroom and biscuit look amazing and something I less likely to make at home …..so I will definitely go back to try that. Also, their wine pours come up a bit short. I did not try any of their cocktails but they have a solid cocktail menu.

Vegan Artisan cheeses found here! - Edit
Wow, they have so many options… Rebel(Austin, TX), Nova Terra(Calistoga, CA), Sri Mu(Los Angeles), Bandit(South Philly) and more.

We dined in for Saturday brunch after visiting the farmers market. We shared the Caesar Salad and the soup of the day, Veggie, while drinking the Carrot Skin Tepache. Personally the Caesar salad was ok. I would have liked it more dressed and topped with “Parmesan”. Veggie soup was flavorful and comforting and the Carrot Tepache lightly sweet and refreshing.
This is definitely a must go to destination while in the area!!
Pros: Artisan vegan cheese , Grab and Go items, Desserts
