I appreciate so many vegan options. I just kind of found the flavors lacking. The Szechuan noodles are just noodles and flavor. There’s no tofu or protein. The cauliflower was $35 and it was just plain and bland. The sauce is barely stood out and you had to really drench them to get any flavor that was kind of disappointing. The lions mane salad was pretty good overall wish that things were slightly different, but definitely worth stopping by

Excellent find in Wailea - Edit
We had the birds nest and the crispy cauliflower entrees which were both excellent. The service was quick and the atmosphere was good. It was a little loud at first but then quieter later. Very easy to book on Open Table.

This place was an amazing experience all around. We had the lions mane mushroom salad, Szechuan garlic noodles and the cauliflower. Every single meal just burst with flavor!!!! The customer service was probably one of the best we’ve had! Our waiter Joey was so incredible nice and accommodating for us vegans, and we also talked to a couple other waiters that just couldn’t have been nicer! We left just going “wow, that’s one of the best experiences we’ve had dining.” 12/10, highly recommend!

OK. This has got to be my favorite meal that I’ve had in Maui as a vegan… possibly ever? The cauliflower, lion’s mane salad, and garlic noodles were absolutely delicious. Just phenomenal dishes all around. So flavorful, rich, and complex. The staff were so attentive and nice, and the cocktails also very good. My only regret is not trying it sooner!

My husband and I went to Maui for our first anniversary. It wasn’t hard finding places to accommodate vegans which was great! I found this restaurant from a Google search and I’m so glad we went. We were honestly a bit bummed that we hadn’t found it sooner. We wanted to get EVERYTHING they could make vegan, so we got the cauliflower, birds nest, and noodles. The birds nest were so flavorful, that sauce was so smooth. The cauliflower? Omg how did they do that? So crispy, soft and flavorful. We ate it in record time. We’d had a weird experience with Szechuan before so we were a little wary but the noodles were just so good. The “dryness” is intended, they were so flavorful and after you started eating them you forgot that they didn’t come smothered in a sauce. Definitely try as many dishes as you can if you go. Might be one of the main caveats about this place though, it’s “family style”. Nevertheless, definitely an amazing experience and worth the $$$.

Upscale dining in the Shops at Wailea - Edit
This place offered a few vegan options though one of their vegan dishes does deep fry in the same place as their meats. Because of that, I went with the garlic Szechuan noodles. It was very good but definitely on the dry side. I would have enjoyed it more if there was a bit of sauciness to the dish. My server was attentive and let me know on his own about them frying in the same oil as their meat for their vegan “birds nest” dish. Otherwise I would have tried that. I got their Mai tai cocktail as well and it was very good and heavily poured so I only got one as I was driving.

Delicious but do take note any fried items share same oil to cook non-vegetarian ingredients. It’s clearly stated on any menu items with fried ingredients.

We dined outside w/omnis. Our choices were plentiful and the waitress knowledgeable (asked if we ate honey). The cauliflower entree was so good I overate. Can’t wait to go back.
