Risa is a great nail technician - Edit
Update: Risa fixed my nails. She was good but I wouldn’t book with Quinn again. I went back to Risa again today and she provided another great service (yellow mail pics!). So increasing my review to 4 star for Risa, but again, do avoid Quinn (initial pictures).
Read moreInitial review: I got a hard gel overlay manicure from the salon owner, Quinn. I think her technique needs some work. It was quite messy (see photos of nail polish left on my skin and unevenness around the edges) and also the nails are unusually thick. I had high hopes but won’t be back, unfortunately.

I went here just before my trip to Japan this year and the staff gave me incredible recommendations for vegan spots while I was travelling.

Beauty that’s Cruelty-Free! - Edit
I had wanted to book in a visit to Line Spa and Polish after hearing some great recommendations, and finally got in a manicure with gel polish. The end result is stunning and the choices offered were endless, and all so much fun! Seika is incredibly talented and so naturally puts you at ease. She is so hospitable as well - and such a pleasure to chat to while she quickly and effortlessly works away at her masterpieces.

Finally a cruelty-free nail salon! - Edit
I had the best experience today at this nail salon in Vancouver. The owner Seika was so friendly and professional and clearly was an expert at what she was doing. I went with a friend for pedicures and we both instantly relaxed and enjoyed our entire visit. The salon is spotless and Seika is meticulous in her craft. There were so many colours to choose from we knew we'd have to go back and try more! I highly recommend going here for beautiful cruelty free nails!
