Amazing food and location - Edit
So grateful for the many vegan options. We had the Cesar salad, Vegan breakfast sandwich and vegan egg quinoa frittata. Everything was soo good while also watching boats cruise by in the bay.

Not painful ☺️--after initial disappointment - Edit
We took an Uber ride and got here just after 11:30 AM eager for brunch... only to find that they had just closed for breakfast and would not reopen until 12 PM for lunch.
Read moreSo in desperate need of a latte we went to the cute little indoor coffee shop/takeout by the lobby. No ocean view but cute and comfortable and multiple vegan items on the menu such as açai salad, some vegan salads and sandwiches including tofu sandwich Banh Mi.
Still eager to sit outside and look at that ocean view we went back to the Lido Bayside. On the lunch menu there's not a lot but what there is is good. They have a vegan Caesar salad, and guacamole. Both were good, drinks are great and the view was magnificent.

Yes!! Just Yes!! - Edit
Great venue! Excellent menu with a Miriam of vegan choices! Delicious and fun drink menu! Atmosphere was awesome, and they had so many gluten free options as well! We had the absolute BEST lunch! This place was the highlight of our time while visiting Miami!

Great food & atmosphere - Edit
Beautiful scenery by the water, friendly staff, and great food. I ordered the vegan scramble with vegan cheese, veg sausage, spinach and tomato. Filled with flavor and great texture. Pricey but worth it.

Vegan slam - Edit
Was a pleasant surprise to have vegan slam. Waffles a little dry and tofu scramble a little flavorless but overall I was pleased. Come here for breakfast! Still felt it was a little overpriced

The Lido Restaurant - Edit
The Lido is located along the bayside of The Standard Hotel; you must go through the lobby to get to the restaurant. If you can't find it, just ask a staff member of the hotel and they'll point you in the right direction. We assumed this would be a typical restaurant so we had planned on ordering a vegan ding dong to go. Well to our surprise this place has great ambiance. The restaurant is all outdoors, has a great view of the bay, and has a funky art deco decor. We thought it was charming so we planned on returning for drinks/snacks before the end of our trip. The food was pretty good, although we just ordered appetizers and dessert, so I can't really comment on the vegan entrees - but they looked really good. I highly recommend the vegan ding dong, it lived up to its hype. The bar tender confessed that he's not vegan and loves the vegan ding dong too. A couple of things to note are that prices are a little higher considering what you get here (but you should expect that in Miami), 18% gratuity is automatically added to your bill, and service can be poor. I believe we paid nearly $10 for the vegan ding dong and the following visit cost us about $75 for 2 appetizers and 3 drinks. This restaurant is a 3.5 but I'm rounding up to 4 for the ambiance.
