Amazing!! So many good flavours it was hard to pick, but I had the Parma violets and Jaffa cake. Both had really good, strong flavours. The cone was great too! Excited to return already, and to try the crumble during the colder months!

My group really wanted to like this place, but we weren’t particularly impressed.
Read moreEverything seemed like it wasn’t particularly fresh, with many of the ice cream inclusions being soft or soggy instead of crisp.
The ice cream was almost unnaturally smooth, and had a bit of a thin texture and taste, particularly the chocolate which was disappointingly un-chocolatey. The almond flavour of the Bakewell tart was really artificial tasting, and everything was overly sweet, possibly explaining why it was so smooth.
It’s also really quite expensive for what it is.
Overall while it’s nice to see an all vegan business, I think there is a lot of room for improvement, and if more places start to offer good vegan options I think this place will go the way of a lot of other all vegan businesses who didn’t constantly improve.

We chose the chocolate mint chip ice cream and chocolate fudge ice cream, both absolutely tasty, not too sweet and not too cold on a super brisk day in Bakewell. The marshmallows were great of course, if they weren't there then I would have definitely gotten the rainbow sprinkles!
The had several types of drizzle but the chocolate one was sold out, so I chose the raspberry drizzle, somehow complimented the ice cream well.
Loved the whipped cream too.

Popped in for a treat after a walk along the Monsal trail and around the beautiful town of Bakewell. Lots of choice on flavours and toppings, I went for the salted caramel with biscoff topping, absolutely delicious! £3.50 for a huge scoop, I thought it was good value. I’d love to try the bubble waffles next time. Seating available inside and outside. Dog friendly.

Lick was probably one of the busiest vendors at VCO this year. I wasn’t going to stand in line for half an hour in 30 degree heat so decided to visit on Sunday evening when it had cooled down a bit. The bubble waffle I had was excellent. They’d already run out of a few toppings and ice cream flavours, but there was still plenty to choose from. I went for one scoop of bakewell pudding and one of biscoff, raspberry sauce and chocolate sprinkles. The bakewell one was a nice surprise as I hadn’t had it before. It was a great way to end the day.

It's such a treat to go somewhere and be able to pick from lots of flavours. I had mint choc chip and coffee, my husband had the same and cookies and cream and our daughter has vanilla with sprinkles. All were delightful.
