Highly acclaimed Ethiopian food - Edit
I came here a few years ago prior to all the accolades and praise and really liked. Decided to revisit it given all the accolades and really enjoyed my dinner but some of the dishes lacked substances.
Read moreThe stuffed jalapenos were decent but nothing to write home about. The tofu dish that came with the veggie combination was just okay but everything else was delicious. Stick to the misir wot, hands down the best dish.

Lots of options - Edit
They have a lot of vegan options here. Eggplant dip was great. The tofu dishes were solid. I think their miser wot was a little lacking in flavor compared to some other Ethiopian places, but overall was a solid meal!

Great place for vegans and none - Edit
Delicious. My favorite of the 6 Ethiopian restaurants i’ve tried (which i guess shouldn’t surprise me since it’s Michelin-reviewed? Does that mean it’s good?).
Read moreWe ordered two veggie combo platters and the eggplant appetizer and it was a good amount of food for two adults and two small children (6 and 2). Our favorite dishes are the okra, collards, cabbage, and lentils. I was less keen on the (cold) mashed garbanzo dish. They were out of tofu.
Pros: lots of options, friendly service, clean and welcoming

Good vegan ethiopian options in a nice setting - Edit
The dining area is in a cute patio with woodsy murals and redwoods. Got the veggie combo meal and an entree of Miser. Everything tasted good but best were Miser and Shiro.

A wide variety of flavors in the 4 vegetarian combo plate - Edit
Lentils and okra are the standout choices for me. They gave me a free coffee while I was waiting for my takeout order.

Nice space, just needs a bit more flavor - Edit
The ingredients were all well cooked, but the food was a bit bland.
