An alternative to Korean food - Edit
If you are staying long in Korea and want to have some good alternative you can try this Italian restaurant. Without having explicit vegan options, you can ask for vegan variations. Make clear, that you don't eat cheese or animal products, though the cook explicitly asked for it.

The owner is very kind and speaks English well. When I asked about vegan options, he made offered a pesto pasta, margherita pizza without cheese, and aglio e olio. If you let him know you’re vegan, he will cater to you. My friends drank Peroni on tap and I had a fresh squeezed orange juice and he didn’t charge me for the juice. Very nice little Italian place!! It’s right next to Little AUS.
