Good but not exceptional

The plates are very colorful and good looking. I just regret that it was not as tasty as it looked like. Food is good but does not differ from what I could make at home.

Pleasant lunch

I went there with my parents who are quite reluctant to vegan food. They took the fish and chicken plate, I ate vegan, my boyfriend ate vegetarian, everyone was happy. They have a seasonal menu. When we went there they offered 3 starters (2 vegetarian and 1 vegan) and 5 main dishes (1 fish, 1 meat, 2 vegan and 1 vegetarian). They had 2 vegan deserts but I didn't try them so I can't judge. Everything is well indicated on the menu (lactose-free, gluten-free, vegan...)
The place is very nice and so are the people. It is a bit expensive if you don't take a menu but everything is organic and/or local.

Pros: Creative food, Nice place, You can eat there with vegan reluctant

Cons: A bit expensive

Amazing tasting plates

Intimate and charming restaurant. Get there early if you don't have a reservation.
Tasting plates were amazing value, a dozen different dishes, each beautifully prepared and presented.
Deserts were extraordinary.
There is always one chicken/fish dish on the menu. A non-veggie friend tried it and said it was excellent.
Good range of gluten-free food.
A delightful and delicious experience.

Pros: Dessets are extraordinary, Wide range of dishes, including gluten-free

Cons: Wine was unexciting, Toilets are up very steep stairs

Underestimated

My first experience in a vegan restaurant in lyon wasn't so bad ?. In france it's always 50/50 chance to eat delicious food in veggie places and from outside it wasn't a real beautifully building, but the chestnut soup and the burger tastet 100% great ? with the ambrée beer and I highly recommend it.

Pros: tasty, organic

Cons: Building looks crappy from outside

Belle decouverte

Nice atmosphere in a vegan-friendly restaurant

The staff has good understanding of what veganism is, and the menu clearly indicates which of the plates are suitable for vegans.

I had the baked polenta, which I found very tasty and satisfying. And they also serve vegan desserts.

The menu is updated regularly on their Facebook page, so I'd suggest checking it before going.

Also, while I was there I saw many people were turned away because the place was full and they didn't have a reservation, so I'd suggest also to book in advance.

In summary, it is a good option if you are in Lyon.

Pros: vegan friendly, nice staff

Cons: not vegan

Nice place

Enough vegetarian options and friendly staff. Wines felt somewhat expensive. Food was tasty, you should taste desserts!

Good food, colorful interior, good location

The restaurant is lovely and colorful, with an informal air. Menus are on chalkboards which the wait staff prop up for you to see, and they are coded to inform if the dish has gluten, dairy, or eggs. A sample is visible on their website. We tried the grande assiette découverte, which is a sampling of several items, and the vegetarian tart. The portions are roughly the same, and are just enough to satisfy the appetite, such that I had room for dessert. The tart that day was a large slice of quiche with chard and hazelnuts, with the rest of the plate filled with greens. The sample plate had a small bowl of soup in the middle, a small slice of quiche, salad with seasoned tofu (yum!) and slices of bread with spreads. The food was very nice, with the feeling of a nice home cooked meal. We also took the sample dessert plate, which offered a few bites of each dessert, which was also very pleasant. In total, the sample platter for the food and dessert was 20 EUR. After the dinner we had a fun time looking up at the historic apartments (with wooden beamed ceilings) and over the city. The restaurant is in a 'bobo' area of town (bourgeois bohemian) on top of a hill, with great views.

Pros: good fresh food, fun interior, good location

Cons: expensive
