Good Moroccan food - Edit
I highly recommend this restaurant! We had been there for dinner and had a juice, a cauliflower and chickpea salad, a lentil tajine with vegetables and eggplant tajine with chickpeas and the famous orange cannelle for dessert... It was one of the best Moroccan food that we had! The choice is incredible (two pages of juice, two pages of tajines, spring rolls, veggie burger, filo pastry) and it's all very tasty! We come back as soon as possible

This is a small, family run place which offers an incredibly diverse menu, including traditional Morrocan dishes. In particular their choice of Tajines was astonishing. We had the lentil tajine and the aubergine and artichokes tajine and they were simple, home-made yet delicious and tasty. The co-owner was very sweet too.

We visit Essaouira and found the restaurant in the Medina. We were absolutely excited about the high quality and delicious foot and juices. The restaurant is verry small but clean. The prices are really fair and the people there are friendly. If you also visit Essaouira, you should eat and enjoy there.

Das Restaurant ist in einem sehr netten Hof gelegen, der zu den belebten Gassen und Basaren in Essaouira auch mal eine schön ruhige Abwechslung liefert. Die Bedienung ist äußerst nett und bringt einem zunächst den scheinbar obligatorischen Vorspeisenteller mit drei Schälchen (Oliven, gewürzte Oliven und Bananenscheiben) und etwas Brot.

Das Gericht war ansonsten hervorragend, sowohl in der Zubereitung als auch in der Präsentation.
Für das Gericht, die inbegriffene Vorspeise und einen Tee habe ich einen unanfechtbar angenehmen Preis gezahlt.
Halte ich auf jeden Fall für empfehlenswert.

I've had the chance to pass this restaurant while I was just arriving to Essaouira with a friend. We've both had couscous, that was absolutely delicious, knowing that my friend is non vegan, non vegetarian, but fell in love with the food!

The flavors are delicate and tasty, definitely worth a visit.
I came back today to have a potato and olive tajine, and it was soooo good!

Perfect small vegan restaurant in Essaouira - Edit
Nous avons mangé délicieusement dans ce petit restaurant familial caché dans un coin de la place Chrib Atay a Essaouira. Large choix de plats et de jus de fruits. Je ne suis pas vegan mais une de mes filles l'est et nous allons donc aussi dans des restaurants vegan. Nous avons tous trouvé des plats à notre goût, plats super bons et service vraiment gentil. On nous a installes a l'interieur pour etre proteges du vent, petit espace cosy. Il y a aussi le wifi. Et ce n est pas cher.

All vego Place with huge range of salads, soup, tangines, bstilla, burgers and other thing like pasta and a range of juices. Prices between 40 and 70 dirhams. Includes free tapas of olives, spicy peppers, fruit and bread.
Read moreConfusingly the menu says "vegan food" but includes items with cheese and honey. I cleared this up with the owner who said it should read "vegetarian and vegan food" and it is clear they do understand what is and is not vegan and can veganise the vegetarian options.
Good vibe in a nice little square close to another vegan place, good service in a family run place.

Located in a small square off one of the main streets, Le Corail offers a wide range of great vegan dishes, from tajines to vegi burgers, with much variety. In addition, there's a selection of more than a dozen fresh juices and smoothies.

Des jus improbables et délicieux, une petite mise en bouche offerte et un couscous aux légumes le plus variés que j'ai vu depuis que je suis au Maroc. En plus, les deux amoureux sont vraiment très gentils et serviables, j'ai même eu le droit à un bracelet et un serre tête de princesse offerts ! J'adore.

We came here as a group of 8 and the owners ushered us inside. Extremely cosy, huge choice of dishes and cooked fresh! We would recommend the tagines over the pastry dishes and be sure to order some sides as they weren't huge portions and it's cheap anyway. The owner was lovely and the food was very tasty - highly recommended!

Amazing vegan Moroccan! C'est le Paradis! - Edit
After scouting cafes for an hour I finally found something substantial and vegetarian, made in traditional Moroccan style with all the beautiful flavors and accoutrements- and fast wifi! I am in heaven. My vegan white bean and mushroom tajine was piping hot perfect, with delicious olives, peppers, spiced chickpeas, and bread on the side. The owners are very kind and took great care of me! Bring friends!

I loved Le Corail At Latifa! I was so happy to find a place in Essaouira with vegan food. The food was so delicious and the juices are really refreshing. I felt totally welcomed there. Latifa and her husband are so nice people and I absolutely enjoyed my time in this little, cute restaurant!

Absolutely beautiful, fresh and tasty food. The best I've had in a long time, and by far the tastiest in Morocco. The veggie burger was fantastic, as was the carrot, orange and ginger juice. A lovely couple runs the place. A definite must in Essaouira.

Very delicious food and you should try the juices, they're awesome. But if you order one of the burger, it's not a regular one. You 'only' get a patty. But these are tasty as well, you actually don't need the bread.. Ask for some fries, these are the best I could find in Morocco.. And, at last, where you can find it; don't let trick you by Google.. It's not in the near of the beach.. It's insight of the Medina, a lot of maps will show you these streets as 'derb laalouj', even the street sign and a second important thing, it's not directly on the street, you have to go inside the 'Place Chrib Atai' - bon appetite!
