great range, good food - Edit
All vego Place with huge range of salads, soup, tangines, bstilla, burgers and other thing like pasta and a range of juices. Prices between 40 and 70 dirhams. Includes free tapas of olives, spicy peppers, fruit and bread.
Read moreConfusingly the menu says "vegan food" but includes items with cheese and honey. I cleared this up with the owner who said it should read "vegetarian and vegan food" and it is clear they do understand what is and is not vegan and can veganise the vegetarian options.
Good vibe in a nice little square close to another vegan place, good service in a family run place.
Pros: range, portion size, free tapas
Cons: could be cheaper, menu could be clearer

Excellent vegan place in Essaouira - Edit
Located in a small square off one of the main streets, Le Corail offers a wide range of great vegan dishes, from tajines to vegi burgers, with much variety. In addition, there's a selection of more than a dozen fresh juices and smoothies.

Des jus improbables et délicieux, une petite mise en bouche offerte et un couscous aux légumes le plus variés que j'ai vu depuis que je suis au Maroc. En plus, les deux amoureux sont vraiment très gentils et serviables, j'ai même eu le droit à un bracelet et un serre tête de princesse offerts ! J'adore.

Sweet little place! - Edit
We came here as a group of 8 and the owners ushered us inside. Extremely cosy, huge choice of dishes and cooked fresh! We would recommend the tagines over the pastry dishes and be sure to order some sides as they weren't huge portions and it's cheap anyway. The owner was lovely and the food was very tasty - highly recommended!

Amazing vegan Moroccan! C'est le Paradis! - Edit
After scouting cafes for an hour I finally found something substantial and vegetarian, made in traditional Moroccan style with all the beautiful flavors and accoutrements- and fast wifi! I am in heaven. My vegan white bean and mushroom tajine was piping hot perfect, with delicious olives, peppers, spiced chickpeas, and bread on the side. The owners are very kind and took great care of me! Bring friends!

We stumbled on this place while looking for another restaurant, but decided to give it a try anyway. We were glad we did! The couscous with onion and chickpeas was so delicious. Be sure to eat here if you're in Essaouira.

in a small courtyard of restaurants, a lovely break from the bustle of Essaouira (just south and on the opposite side from the museum). I enjoyed my lovely and affordable meal and the care shown by the charming hosts. I'm hoping to go back this visit to explore the extensive juice and food menu.

I loved Le Corail At Latifa! I was so happy to find a place in Essaouira with vegan food. The food was so delicious and the juices are really refreshing. I felt totally welcomed there. Latifa and her husband are so nice people and I absolutely enjoyed my time in this little, cute restaurant!

Absolutely beautiful, fresh and tasty food. The best I've had in a long time, and by far the tastiest in Morocco. The veggie burger was fantastic, as was the carrot, orange and ginger juice. A lovely couple runs the place. A definite must in Essaouira.

Vegan Oasis in Essaouira - Edit
Very delicious food and you should try the juices, they're awesome. But if you order one of the burger, it's not a regular one. You 'only' get a patty. But these are tasty as well, you actually don't need the bread.. Ask for some fries, these are the best I could find in Morocco.. And, at last, where you can find it; don't let trick you by Google.. It's not in the near of the beach.. It's insight of the Medina, a lot of maps will show you these streets as 'derb laalouj', even the street sign and a second important thing, it's not directly on the street, you have to go inside the 'Place Chrib Atai' - bon appetite!

This is a really small restaurant with an unexpected great kitchen. The choice is almost too huge and every meal we ordered was very good. We never found a vegetarian Restaurant in Marokko comparable with that one. They actually can cook with vegetables and don't only serve dry couscous or boring veggie tajine as to complete the Menue.

Last but not least you get a very good fruit juice for free!

Awesome food and nice atmosphere - Edit
The food at Le Coreil at Latifa was just outstanding! We had a really nice veggie-burger with a beet root juice which was included in a quite reasonable menu. We paid only 60 Dirham which is a good price in this touristy area. The service was great and the owner welcomed us in friendly and hospitable way. It just felt like having a private dinner at someone's place which made the entire atmosphere of the restaurant cosy and comfortable. The menu offers a wide range of vegan and vegetarian options for fair prices! I'd definitely recommend having a relaxed dinner at this great restaurant!!
