Best place to go in Essaouira! Even for omivores - Edit
This place is the best. The food is AMAZING! I had breakfast which was great, better than most normal breakfasts. And now I just had dinner. I took the vegetable cream soup and the vegetable lentil tajine. Both were so good. Every bite was wonderful. The owners are so friendly and they gave me some nice little present. Would recommend anyone go and eat their delicious food full of love!

There were so many tajine options it was difficult to choose.
The juices were zwin as well.
Nice staff.
I will definitely eat here again on my next trip to Essaouira.

Ses légumes vient principalement d'un jardin de compagne pas loin, et tout est frais et fait maison 🏡
Faites attention, ils ont changé de place alors vérifiez bien que vous êtes chez Latifa.. La cuisinière principale, généreuse et douce 😍 c'est une combattante aussi vu les restaurants à côté qui essayent de l'imiter et lui voler les idées de ses plats, je trouve ça triste et elle mérite de l'encouragement !
Souvent tu as droit à un petit cadeau en fin de repas pour te souhaiter un bienvenue marocain généreux ❤️

Staff was super friendly and there's a wide range of vegan options in the vegetarian/vegan moroccan menu. We went twice and waited a little while for the food both times but well worth it! Note that the "burgers" actually only include the patty but are delicious. There's also over 50 different tajines and juices to choose from. There's another 3-4 vegan/vegetarian restaurants in the sAme square as this one but we didn't try them. Their menus mainly featured vegan tajines, spring rolls, pasta and pastillas.

Deux belles soirées passées dans ce petit et charmant restaurant, où Tarik et Latifa cuisinent tout à partir de produits bruts qu’ils vont chercher tous les jours dans la campagne d’Essaouira. Tout est frais, ils prennent le temps de cuisiner (gage de qualité), et chaque tajine du menu est extra! Le menu est assez conséquent et tout ce qu’on a goûté était délicieux, en allant du tajine de lentilles à la brik de dattes et figues, en passant par leur veggie burger, leur couscous aux raisins secs et aux oignons...

Latifa sure knows how to cook vegan food. We strongly recommend this place whether you are vegan or not. We loved the pumpkin soup and the spring roll.
Service was good and food was ready quite quickly.
The owners were very nice and kind with our children. They even offered them some coloring books and crayons.
This is the only authentic vegan food in that area. Make sure you encourage them.
We would of had more meals there but they were closed on the Sunday. That was very unfortunate. Food was terrible next door.

Une cuisine faite avec le cœur. Nous avons été véritablement charmé par ce petit restaurant vegan. Les plats sont préparés à la minute, savoureux et parfaitement assaisonnés. Les jus sont exceptionnels. Encore un point positif : l'accueil, le couple est d'une immense gentilesse et générosité, serviable et attentionné. cosy vegan tagine heaven - Edit
This amazing Moroccan restaurant is tucked away in a corner of the square (not to be confused with the bigger restaurant next door). Has indoor as well as outdoor seating so nice and cosy on a winter evening. Our food was very flavourful, thoughtfully presented and full of welcome vegetabley lentiley goodness. :) The chef and her husband are adorable and extremely welcoming, a real beacon for veganism in essaouira. Keep up the great work!

Vegan gem in Essaouira - Edit
A husband and wife team run this cute cosy vegan place with indoor and outdoor seating. Latifa is the chef and she is vegan, as are all her dishes. There's a dazzling array of tajines, burgers, salads, and other dishes on offer. We got a salad, two juices, and two tajines, which were all super tasty. It was a filling meal for two people. Highly recommended!

Very sweet and good-hearted owners. I came twice to eat here during my stay since it is such a nice little restaurant where the food is cooked with love and fresh, local produces. This couple knows the need of having both vegetables and legumes in one dish.
