Great falafel - Edit

Had the falafel and it came with a side of humus and tabulah for a very affordable price. Love the new spin on an 80s food court with interesting options and a bar for drinks. Great place to go with a group as people can choose their thang when it comes to food. Also, on a Friday evening, a jazz band was playing. Terrific.

I know you're tired of hummus, BUT.... - Edit

Visited tonight expecting a mediocre vegan option at the Southern Market food hall. Boy was I happily mistaken! We ordered both the muhammara hummus and the stuffed grape leaves, and both were the best we've ever had! The hummus was velvety smooth and indulgently creamy, and the grape leaves perfectly balanced in texture and flavor. I can't believe I'm saying this about such "simple" dishes, but I have a feeling I'm gonna be thinking about this unexpectedly lovely meal for a very long time.
(Note to patrons: be sure to indicate if you want a vegan option; many of the dishes have a sprinkling of feta)

World's Best Hummus - Edit

It is a pleasure to do business with Mo. He is always friendly and provides first-class service. The food is delicious, and his hummus is my absolute favorite. When visiting the Southern Market, you cannot go wrong with food from Layali El Sham.
