L’endroit est super cosy, on s’y sent vraiment bien. Les pâtisseries et viennoiseries sont délicieuses. Vous devez absolument tester !! L’accueil est très chaleureux.

Love this place! - Edit

I stumbled upon this great place after a short walk. I ordered the Hawaii açai bowl and the almond croissant. It was the best breakfast I had in Paris! Staff was super friendly and the prices good. Very clean place with lovely vegan options. Will definitely come back next time I will stay in Paris.

Pros: Staff speaks English, Vegan pastries

Amazing desserts! - Edit

I recently discovered Laélo and I look forward to coming back here. I am mainly excited by their desserts: amazing pastries, croissants, apple turnovers, etc. They look nice and they taste very good. The food is also yummy (I tried the fish and chips) and you have the choice between 6-7 dishes that all seem interesting (bowls, kebab, fish and chips, tajine, etc.). The place is pleasant, you can stay here a while in the afternoon, eating cakes and pastries. The staff is friendly and you are served quickly. A great addition to Paris vegan places!

Pros: amazing desserts, good food, pleasant place, friendly staff

delicious - Edit

Nice place for people with a sweet tooth. The pain au chocolat tasted like I remember it from not vegan days.

Practical but pricey - Edit

When I first walked into the café, I really liked the cozy atmosphere (pillows everywhere!), and was impressed with the choice of salads, sandwiches and drinks to-go, as well as the beautiful desserts.
I tried the fish and chips, which consisted of three fish fingers, a slice of bacon, a vegetable wok, and a small portion of fries. The veggies and fries felt homemade, they were less salty and greasy than the usual, which was nice, but they lacked in the taste department. The fish fingers were perfectly fried, but also bland. The bacon was a nice flavorful addition.
My friend got the burger of the moment, which came with guacamole, pomegranate-raisin coleslaw, bacon and barbecue sauce. He said it wasn't the best burger he'd ever had, and we agreed that the dishes were overpriced for their size (13-14€ each).
Since we had room for dessert, we each got a cup of frozen yogurt, which was 4.80€ with unlimited homemade toppings such as various fruit sauces, chopped nuts and cookie crumbs. It tasted and felt exactly like real frozen yogurt, and was delicious!
I later got a baguette sandwich which had mayo, ham, cheese, cucumber and salad. The bread was very good but the sandwich remained bland overall, and was also very pricey.
From my experience so far, I would just recommend the frozen yogurt. But I have to say, as a vegan it is nice to be able to get some quick lunch on the go.

Pros: Delicious frozen yogurt

EXQUIS - Edit

Great place to have vegan gluten free cakes and other things - Edit

Everything is vegan and organic. Many gluten free options including among the cakes. They are testing a gluten free version for the croissant and I liked it.
The Brooklyn cake is a killer. I get a slice of it at least every week since I have tried it.
Friendly staff.

Pros: Homemade using fresh ingredients. Great value for

Cons: Closes at 8PM, not possible to have dîner.

Amazing pastries - Edit

So, I haven't had a chance to try the food but the desserts are amazing. The croissants, macaroons, and cake that I tried were all tasty. The friendly staff was helpful and accommodating with the language barrier. If you're a vegan looking for some french pastries, I highly recommend.

Pros: Pastries, Good value, Friendly Staff

Cons: Coffee was weak

A good addition to the vegan scene in Paris - Edit

We've been to Laelo several times by now; however, we finally tried something other than cakes. :)

We had the burger and the kebab.
The food was not mind-blowing; but it was rather tasty.
Portions were decent since both came accompanied by french fries and a small salad.

The desserts and pastries are something different to what you can get in Paris (you can have a frozen yoghurt, a chausson-aux-pommes, and there is lemon meringue tart on a regular basis!), which is a good reason to pay them a visit.

They serve also sandwiches, juices and vegetable-based lattes. Overall, they have quite a good variety of things to offer.

The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is nice too.

A good addition to the vegan scene in Paris, worth giving it a try.

Pros: variety of food, service, good value

Cons: nada

Good desserts but - Edit

Checked this new place twice.
First time a menu with salad, main dish (soy based) and chocolat cake.
The second time only a main dish. Also soy based.
Both times the main dish had a strange taste. Maybe its me...
I will give them another chance though.

Pros: Good desserts, Menu not expensive, Friendly staff

Cons: Cooking to be improved

Disappointed - Edit

I went there very hopeful, especially for the pastries.
I ordered a bo bun and my friend went for a burger.
The food was very disappointing, the avocado was far from ripe, the samosas weren't fully cooked, the burger was tasteless, and overall the food was cold when it arrived.
We waited so long to get our food (even though there were very few people there) that I asked for my dessert to go, and didn't even have the heart to eat it.
I hope this isn't everyone's experience but I am truly disappointed.

Pros: Many choices of starters, desserts and drinks, vegan pastries

Cons: Bland food, Long wait, Very expensive for what we got
